Can someone please explain SCAL to me? I have a Cricut Expression and I am assuming SCAL would work with it? I would love to be able to create and cut some of these great images for my pages! Do I need my computer hooked up to my expression? That is probably a stupid question, but the computer is downstairs and the cricut is up! Guess I could move the cricut when I need to make cuts from the computer! Thanks for any help!

SCAL is a 3rd party computer program - besides my files(or svg files) it will cut any true type font that you have on your computer - so yeah, it will have to be connect to the computer(why I love my laptop)

I use a program called inkscape to trace images (usually coloring book pages but as you can see from above - I do other things too) inkscapes is free
