I just got back, and saw somthing top secret!!!

I was there for a conference from 11/26-12-1. It was at CS but I was staying at SSR (on cash) I would avoid the stop lights at Downtown and Epcot resort area by going around on Epcot center drive and World drive.
I did not have my camera with me, but coming up behind me was a huge semi pulling a very large item on a flat bed. It was shrink wrapped. As I was letting this truck pass with the Disney Security escort, I could make out what it was under that shrink wrap..............It was the "Black Pearl"!!!!!! IT was the same size as the "Wicked Wench." THe truck was heading to the MK. My thoughts were a parade float, a replacement for PC, or a small Black Pearl for the Pirate beach party. Anyone such as CM's out there know what the Pearl is doing in WDW?

When on the Disney Wonder cruise in Oct, we saw the POC boat at Castaway cay. Sorry, im being dumb this morning the name of the boat has gone from my head. Anyway the CM in the shop told my DD that there would be a surprise boat at the Princess and Pirates party. So I guess it might be for that.................. how cool. Wish we were going.

Awhile back, there was a rumor that the "Chronicles of Narnia" exhibit at MGM was going to be changed over to a POTC exhibit once both POTC movies were finished filming. It would be in the same fashion as the Chronicles of Narnia w/the movie clip, props and scenery. Don't know if it's heading there!?!?

I'm hoping that it's going to the PoTC ride. That was the one missimg object since adding Capt. Jack. Sure,there's a boat but it's not the Black Pearl.

That's what I would guess. They only have a just over a month before that party starts.

Well as a conglomeration of ideas most are rdefinitely right in 2 areas.....per info sent with the P&P party tickets there is going to be a new floats and an entirely different parade for the party......and secondly yes Narnia is going to be changed to POTC but most likely not until closer to the May release of the movie.


So I would say you saw the parade float.....very cool! And now I really can't wait until Jan 26th.

That's too cool that you're going on January 26th! That's my 20th Birthday, but I won't make it to the World until March But at least I'll get to be there in March
