So let me see if I have this straight. I go on lastminutetravel.com and I have to be in the hotel section at the right time & if I am a timer will appear on my screen. Then I don't know how it's done. Do I search for my location & dates, do the survey, watch the videos & book w/ my CC within the 5 mins.

I was already on a page with my location and dates displayed. I refreshed and the video started. Then you sign in and input the traveler's name. Then another video played and I input my CC infor. Then is asked me to answer a quick survey about where I usually booked travel. I said Priceline and it said Why do you book there?? But it went to the confirmation screen at that point. I didn't have to answer the question.

I saw the clock and heard it as I was entering data, but I didn't see it until after the first video. I had 4+ minutes to complete the entries.

The timer happens no matter where you are on their site. I was goofing around in the cruise section when the clock started ticking at 10:27 pm last night.

When the clock ticks, immediately put in your hotel dates and city in the left-side section. It walks you through from there.

Don't freak out when the video first starts. The ticking stops. The first time it happened, I thought I timed out.

If you do time out, it stops you and you get the time-out notice.

Thanks! I am so hoping we can score something for WDW. How do you know what choices are available?

Hi everyone, I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it..........so this'll start back on Monday, right? Does anyone know what time on Monday we should start checking? 12am Monday? 6am Monday? I know we don't know when the 15 minutes starts, but when does their site "open". thanks!

Pull up a comfy chair and read through all the thread. I have seen savannah view at AKL, Poly, values, most of the moderates, even up to 2 bedroom DVC units.

See this is where this confuses me TOTALLY.

Last night I was on and missed the first one......stopped to watch tv for a couple mins STUPID STUPID STUPID!

Well then I saw the post that it was happening again. I go I had two tabs up one on the main page and one on the hotels refresed both NOTHING.

Typed in (frantically) lastmin........com NOTHING typed in disney and my dates....all the prices were the same as they had been all day....

Clicked on the cocoa beach where it said $1 instead of the normal $110.

NOTHING

Did search for hotel again price still the same.....Go down to POLY LV clicked BOOK IT said

Congratulations the world for a dollar is going on go back and re-enter your dates

when I did this the (went back to the main page) there was the clock w/ 1:30 left on the clock....of course I never finished barely got thru the video (I figured I wouldn't get it w/ 1:30 left but I thought WTH)

ANY SUGGESTIONS as to what I did wrong?

Also so people are thinking that (SD) that you will need to be on the list of destinations on the blog to see the clock on Monday.

I would REALLY appreciate any thoughts on what I did wrong!

Thanks :thumbsup2 :badpc: :badpc:

So, I got Hawaii last night. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I've read the rules three times now.

I can't figure out if my husband CAN or CANNOT try for another trip. I used our home computer and he would use his work computer. The rules don't say per household, it says per person...?

That's fantastic! Congrats! :cool1: :cool1:

Gosh, I don't know. I didn't understand the two tabs thing (keeping two windows open) so I just had one open. I heard the TICK-TOCK as I was watching TV and pretending I could afford a huge cruise.

And I NEVER saw the Cocoa Beach banner that everyone keeps mentioning.

Without checking back thru everything did they ever do anything yesterday other than the 5 minute one around 8 ?

That's fantastic! Congrats! :cool1: :cool1:

Thans! My husband doesn't believe me at all and thinks I fell for a giant scam. Then, he hates the dates I picked because it is just after the time change.

I'm like, it was a DOLLAR! And then they waived it at the end and my receipt shows ZERO.

Woohoooo congrats!!! :cheer2:

THANKS!

I've never been to Hawaii and because my husband works for Disney, it didn't seem right to snag a Disney room away from one of my fellow DIS-ers.

I just wish I picked another Island. There doesn't seem much to do on the Big Island and I totally forgot that Pearl Harbor is there, D'UH!

He'll be happy when he get's there. When will you ever be able to go to Hawaii for just the price of airfare! :cool1:

I still can't imagine getting the rooms for $1! And here I was thinking Disney's 40% off was a fantastic offer. :rotfl: :

May be should have another thread with the names of the people who scored the rooms and what they got?

I'm very interested in this moreso now that I scored one!

(I'm in only SLIGHTLY jealous of the rumor of the gal that got the $4000 deal for $7). I mean, I'm beyond happy I got one but my hotel is a condo complex-type hotel and not an all-inclusive resort. Luck of the draw, I suppose.

Nope, Pearl Harbor isn't on the Big Island (it's on Oahu) and if you're even remotely interested in volcanoes, there's *plenty* to do! Kilauea has been erupting regularly on the Big Island for 20 years or so -- and you can hike to a safe viewing point! Also, although you won't find many white sandy beaches on the Big Island, there are lots of neat black sand (and other color) beaches, hikes, etc., plus there's probably tons to do at your resort.

Immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture and history. Take in a luau.

I'm envious!

I meant that Pearl Harbor was in Hawaii...I should have been more careful on what Island I picked so that I was near more touristy stuff.

We love the idea of black sand beaches. I was raised near the ocean so this would be totally different. And the volcanoes sound really neat.

Well, at least I'm finally getting the hints now. I'll go check out the last one and see if I can get my lovable genius hubby to figure it out. And then, of course, share it with all of you. :)

snap - this has already ended and I have been reading everyon'e posts for over an hour! I want to try for next week but I am already freaked OUT!:scared: Will be praying all weekend!
