Okay I read through the 1st 24 pages this morning but I cna't keep up , and I have a questions and you're all kjust sitting around doing nothing anyway so don't shoot me if this has been asked...

I'm afraid to try booking some really expensive room because what if I miss the timeframe and I get though the booking and have a $600 room at the Poly for 5 nights? To cancel they charge you a 1 night fee. Anyone know if you just get denied the room if you don't make it or if the booking goes though for full price. Thanks all!

If you're in the middle of a booking that says the room is $1 per night, I don't they can complete the booking at a higher price without disclosing the higher price. I would expect that if you try to complete the booking a few seconds too late, you would get a message that the price had changed from what was quoted.

but, i am thinking that the chatango site...well, really, WHO in their right mind is going to be posting on that site "GO" when they are trying to get the deals themselves and time is of the essence?

Yeah thought about that, but I'm just guess, like any other site it gives you a "OK this is what you want page" to check before you click charge my card. I am jsut assumiing it will do the same. Also because you are actually on a $1 page not a regular booking page, I don't see how it can jusmp back and change it to regualr rate. Sorry if that sounded a little in cirlces

I've been thinking the same thing. I know I couldn't handle it. My brain and fingers would be in a conflict.

I totally agree! Although, someone earlier said that the people doing the chat have already gotten their $1 rooms and are just doing this to help others out. Don't know if I believe it, but talk about selflessness!!!

Now i am really confused....HOW MANY Oportunities were there already? I thought there was only one 5 min. block of time a little after 7 AM EST. Is that the case, or was there a 2nd one at 9 AM? This is the part that is making me nuts, because if there is only 1 5 min time frame left today, then I really better be on my toes. As for the next time frame coming up at 5PM EST....how did we draw that conclusion????
