I just got a FREE hotel stay in NYC!!! (Disney Hotels Coming Up!)

When the deal came up this morning, many of the Disney resorts that were showing available for my dates dropped off during the promo and only the values were showing. Once the promo was over they were all there again.

I'm trying different dates next time. I would really like to get a deluxe or at least a mod. I think free dining is a better deal than the the value resort for us.

No, the rooms are paid for well before your arrival date. Plus, they are part of a bigger organization of various travel sites.

The economy is probably why they can afford to do it. Even a room that sells for $1 makes Disney more money than one that sits empty. If we get a $1 room, we'll still buy park tickets, food, etc, that we wouldn't have gotten there otherwise.

I wouldn't have them set just for the deluxe. But that's just me. I haven't heard of anyone getting a deluxe in the last few. I've heard a lot about it just being values and a couple mods. When I was on looking at a week in October it seemed to just be the values. I guess it could change. I'm hoping that maybe they will open up some more on MOnday. Kind of like starting over. Maybe they held some for the second week of the promo.

Did you notice if the music family suites was still listed in the values, or just standard rooms? I'm curious because we need a room for 5.

The video plays automatically and I've heard of people getting dates all the way through January of next year. I don't know about farther than that though.

3 star listed as standard, preferred. family suite available at this resort. End of may dates BTW.

Maybe I should give up. This would be an unscheduled trip- The only reason to go would be if I got a deluxe for a deal! I'd rather stay offsite than at a mod or a value. (please don't flame, I'm just too cheap!)

I didn't see any of the family suites. Just standard or prefered rooms. Again this was for the week I was checking in October. It could be different on different weeks. I'm going to check september next time.

FS are values, this site rates thier hotels by stars 3.5 is value, 4 and up are mods and deluxe. We too, are a family of 5 so I have left my filter set, getting in on a value will do me little good. I guess I am the extreme optimist but it seems with this deal things are very incosistent. If no deluxe this AM, there is no reason their might not be one later, plus I do believ it depends on your dates. This "contest" seems to be very unpredictable.

It comes up for me when I do a regular search. We too are a family of 5 but it won't let you enter 3 children so what I did was enter 3 adults and 2 children. It only brings up the Fam Suites, POR and deluxe.

Now......I just need to be lucky enough to be online when they open the next booking window...........................
