I just can't bring myself to commit to Best Rate

Today is the 120 day cut off for my December trip, and I just can't do it. There are way too many unknowns in my life to commit one night's stay and $50 for any changes.

I have an ill father, a 96 year old grandmother, a step child who should be with her mother for christmas, but her mother is an unreliable flake.

I just can't commit so far ahead. Anyone else feel like this? :confused3

Yes, yes, yes! I feel the same way. We aren't going until January, but I just feel like committing 120 days out is not worth the money we MIGHT save, which in value season at a value resort will be minimal anyway. I may end up kicking myself, but I'm taking the chance.

I understand how you feel. My DH's father is not well but we went ahead & booked knowing we may lose our deposit. Hopefully, Disney will be understanding about an emergency and will let us re-book. If not, then I guess we will lose the deposit. If DH's dad is okay, we will make our yearly trip to Disney and I did not want to take the chance on paying rack rate. So, I am just keeping my fingers crossed and we will see. Here is some pixie dust for all of you who are holding out for discounts other than what is being offered with the Best Rate plan. :wizard:
