I just called to ask if any codes for Jan had came out. The guy on the phone said that they could not give me a code. I said not a personal code. I mean a QPX or XYZ code and he said if it had he still could not give it to me. I had to know the code or he could not give it to me. Has it always been that way.

Yes, Disney will not offer you any special rates or promotionals. I think this has become standard for many hotel reservationists, as they are trained to reserve a room for you at the best price for their employer. If you read some of the other "boards" say trip advisor, you will read posts from folks that call a particular hotel, ask about a rate category, then ask for the best rate, then ask to price match, etc, and each time the reservationist will reply with a different lower room rate. You have to know what to ask for. However, in the case of Disney, they will not offer you any discounts or codes unless you have recieved them prior, ask about them, and then are eligible to use them.

BTW, we are all awaiting January codes, keep your fingers crossed that they come out soon!
