I just bought 5 Brita Fill & Go Bottles!!!

They are almost completely extinct, but I found 5 of the babies in a Walmart next town over. I was out anyway and swung by and got them. They are $4.40 each at Walmart and are bringing as much as $22.00 each on Ebay!!! I watched several last week, but just couldnt bring myself to bid. Glad I didnt. Gonna list the 5th one on Ebay in a few minutes. May actually pay for the other 4!!!

Lucky you!!!! I searched three Wal-Marts this weekend and could'nt find a single one. I used mine last year and it got ruined!!! Oh well;bottled water for me!!!!! Have a great trip!!!!

I was patting myself on the back all the way home. Now Ive just got to figure out a way to attach a string or clip or strap to it so I dont have to carry it around.
Make a few more calls. There might be one close by you forgot about. I live between about 5 counties. All very close by.

I bought a bunch of those years back at Sams. I think they were really cheap like $1.88 for two. I gave several away. I never used one myself. Why are they discontinuing them? I will nhave to see if I have any left .

I found 2 of these today at Walmart on clearance for $4.50. They are the ones with the soccer theme on them, I noticed these are going for more on ebay then the regular ones. So now I have to decide if I should keep them both or sell one of them

I got the last two from my walmart last week. I want to check the walmart in the next county over too, but havent made it there yet. I got one with the soccer theme and one with the American flag. I would love to get at least two more if possible, but if not, we can make do with just two.

Check your local grocery stores too. I bought mine at Kroger. I got mine on sale by pure chance but I have seen them there since.

Since people are having trouble finding the discontinued Brita Fill & Go bottles, I figured some other company must also make filtered sports bottles.

So....I did a search on Google (my usual starting point) for filtered sports bottle. I found this site:

I can't recommend either the bottles or the dealer/website, but I did notice they have a few different varieties of the Culligan name brand sports bottles at a good price. They have a 27oz for $7.99 and a 16oz that is out of stock at the moment.

Again...this was a 5 minute search. I didn't really dig into the site for shipping charges, etc and I didn't even look at any of the other sites that came up from my original google search.

I just wanted to let everyone know that there are alternatives to purchasing a $5 Brita Bottle on eBay for $25....

I just returned from "Britta Quest 2005." All the Walmarts in my area are cleaned out. I did find them at ACE HARDWARE, however. They were $10.50 each. More than Walmart, but less than eBay. Gotta figure my time is worth something too. Also with Ace, you're more likely to get a speedy answer if you let your fingers do the walking!!

Your definately right on that. The main prerequisite for being a Walmart associate in our area is "the ability to successfully ignore your customer" and "how to hang up successfully on the customer".
Ive had nothing but AWESOME results with our local Ace Hardware. Walmart on the other hand is a joke. Though I will say that the man that held them back for me was a very good employee. Of course, he was an older gentleman. Its usually the teens and 20s that have no respect for themselves or anyone else.
