I invented a new drink last night!

I was at a b-day party and there was Margarita mix but the tequila was all gone so i poured some mix and added vodka (stolichanya ??) instead! it was so....good!! I was shocked at how good it actually was!

I did that last Saturday when my dad forgot the tequila (Williams Sonoma margarita mix is HEAVENLY!!!) It was okay, but half the fun of a margarita is the tequila flavor!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOO! You would have to mention Stoli's! I've been on the wagon for a whole week (doing the old DIS challenge - drink is empty, but fun, calories)! I am a Stoli's martini fan.

You drink sounds great. I think you should call it the Wagarita.

Great idea. I love Margaritas but tequila gives me a terrible headache. I do just fine with vodka though.

I just caught up with this post. And funny thing, but Saturday night, I did almost the same thing, only backwards. There was a big ol' bottle of Mezcal, but no Margarita Mix. So I tried something reallyt neat: I poured it in a glass, swallowed a pile of salt, and slammed that stinker down, then chewed on a lemon. It was so good, I did it several more times before wafting off to bed at 2 AM. Ah, temporary bachelor life....

OK, OK, so I didn't invent it and in retrospect, it wasn't a very smart idea. Had me a LONG Sunday.......

TRANSFUSION - Vodka, Grape joice and either ginger ale or Fresca. It is great on a hot day

Any suggestions on what to mix with chocolate vodka? I was told to make a martini (chocolate). The ingrediants? Well all you do is shake the vodka with ice, dump it in a glass and toss a chocolate kiss into it. I was warned that it was strong (no kidding, duh it is straight vodka). Well it just doesn't do it for me taste wise. So any suggestions? How can I use this stuff?

I can't help with the chocolate martini thing, but the other day I bought some pineapple jiuce and I didn't know what to do with it, so I got out my drink shaker and poured in a small can (6 oz. I think) of pineapple juice, a large splash of Malibu rum (yum!) and an equally large splash of Midori (melon liqueur for any who aren't familiar). I threw in a handful of ice, shook it up, poured it out and man was it delicious!!! I gave some to my DH when he got home from work and he agreed that it was a taste sensation! I don't know if it exists as a drink already or not, but it's my new favorite!

Not to spoil your "discovery", but I always thought that Gin and Sweet and Sour was a Tom Collins and Vodka and Sweet and Sour was a Vodka Collins. They put an orange slice and cherry on a plastic sword on top (makes the drink complete )
Isn't Margarita Mix just Sweet and Sour? You add Triple Sec and Tequila of choice to make it a marg?? Anyway, it is a delicious cocktail.

my newest drink invention is that new Fuze peach-mango stuff with Malibu. Yeah, that's about as girly as you can get, I know, but wow it's good!
