I intro'ed a long time ago, but am now back!!!

I just wanted to join back again. I made my intro a few months ago, but didn't stick with it :( I am now back and doing the Atkins/Julie thing and have lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks!!!! YEAH!!!! I did eat something today that I don't know if it will hurt me at all, but I ate 4 onion rings. Are onions ok on the Atkins Diet? Does anyone know? Anyway, I am trying to get back to my premarriage size (hehehe) so I have a long way to go!!! But I just wanted to reintroduce myself.

Glad you came back! We need you here! If you want to check out what you are eating, try going to fitday.com and journal the foods you have eaten. This will give you a great idea about what you have eaten and how "good" you are doing. It is a little labor intensive in the beginning until you get the hang of it. It is a good tool and it is Free! I love free!

Sounds like your 4 onion rings wouldn't have been more than 6 carbs at the very most, so I wouldn't worry about them too much. However, deep-fried onion rings shouldn't be an every-day thing because the type of fat in them isn't all that healthy.

Glad you've joined us again! It sounds like you're back on track already - 16 pounds gone!! ::yes:: Good for you!

Thanks for the welcome back!!! :) I just got home for lunch and ate my turkey (that is my main staple when on Atkins). I have been going out to eat for lunch the past few months, so this saves money (for Disney trips of course) and helps me lose weight!!!! Anyway, thanks again. I guess my next move is to get up at 6:00am every morning and start walking. I work 2 jobs, so time is sparse with me. Wish me luck getting out of bed tomorrow :p At least Ihave Donald singing in the tub to wake me up (I have the mickey mouse alarm clock!! I love it!!!)
