I INSISTED it wouldn't happen!

I swore I absolutely would NOT buy anything related to fall or Christmas yet. I would not leave summer without a fight. I would not think about fall or the upcoming holidays.

Well, yesterday I was out and about and before I knew it, I found myself cruising the aisles of The Christmas Tree Shop. Big mistake. I'm always saying that The Christmas Tree Shops only exist as a reminder that there are tons and tons of merchandise out there that you really DON'T need, but you absolutely MUST have! I caved, and I a bought a few Halloween decorations.

Then I found myself standing in Border's in front of a large display of board games, all at 50% off. I purchased the Harry Potter Scene It game and the DaVinci Code Mancala game. I've put them away for DD for Christmas. They were half-off. What else could I do?

I did the exact same thing last night and actually ended up buying some presents for the girls at work that I simply could NOT pass up. They were cloth bags (like wine holder size) with cloth pot holders, placemats, napkins, etc. for $6.99. Perfect for that little something you want to give without spending a ton of $. I bought 3 sets.

It amazes me the stuff I find myself buyng at that store that I don't need (and sometimes have no use for ) simply because it's such a good deal.

I bought a 8 foot blow up santa for the lawn last night at Target.

I brought to the register first and said I can't buy it now before Halloween
then the cashier said last year they were sold out by Thanksgiving.
and i fell for peer pressure

I really wanted something at Kohls but it wasn't on sale.
