I just bought a set of packing cubes and everyone says they are amazing. I got them on sale at ebags, just hoping they are amazing as everyone says.

Also bought a $3 pop-up hamper at walmart. Not sure I need one, but it was $3 and I figure I'll just use it on trips.

And I got my LGMH at Home Depot today. It was fun to find them. :goodvibes I really want to put "Watch out for StitchSpawn" on mine...:goodvibes

I just popped open the hamper and I'm rather surprised how big it is for three dollars and tax. And it fits perfectly folded into my medium suitcase. I'm determined to take my medium suitcase this time vs. my large suitcase. ;)

Also bought a sackbag from ebags. I have one I got from a WDW tour, but I liked this one because it has a pocket for a water bottle.

I hate crossbody bags, bc they constantly hit your side or thigh. I find it irritating and I used a regular backpack last time, but I found I really didn't need that much space. I bought the pink one.

And I know ppl like the shoe organizers, but I saw this and I think I will use it all at home and may use the wall organizer for my bathroom stuff, instead of the shoe organizer. The closet organizer I definitely be using in the closet we will have at WDW to organize outfits. Liked the pockets on the sides.

I think I'm going to scare the rest of my family when they see how organized I am...:goodvibes

I just bought the exact same sackbags for my girls and me to carry in Disney. We also got pink.

I tried using packing cubes for my suitcase and absolutely hated them. I think I'm one of the few people who likes to roll my clothes up and I felt that I couldn't get as much in the suitcase with the organizer.

Have fun scaring your family with the organizers. :rotfl:

I roll my clothes too.. I've also been known to shove socks & underwear into the shoes!

I bought a set of packing cubes & tried them out on a short trip last month. I also roll my clothes, & I thought they were fabulous! I managed to pack 2 kids in one suitcase & clothes stayed separate! I plan on buying a set once a month or so until our trip. That way everyone gets their own color & we can actually unpack!

I'm not sure if I will like it either, or Ziplock bags won't do just as well. I think I'm going to do a trial pack, try all three out and decide. I can always send the cubes back if I don't like them.

I will be shoving socks into my shoes and shoebag now...:goodvibes

Ziploc bags worked great for DD10's clothes. She is so hard to get ready that it worked well to pick everything out and match it up before we went. We packed her outfits in individual ziploc bags before the trip so there were no arguments- she just grabbed a bag & got dressed. She had her suitcase packed before and it seemed like there was lots more room after we put everything in ziploc bags.

I love the packing cubes! It had great review but I didn't really get it. I got the value set and was able to fit my *thick* queen size blanket in the medium packing cube:

There was bit of extra room when I put in the large cube, so I thought maybe I could squish into the medium and it fit! Albeit I had to sit on it to close, but between doing that and then sitting on my suitcase when it's fully packed I think I should be able to fit a lot. And one great benefit is the cubes keep your stuff in a boxy shape to help it fit better into the box shaped suitcases!
I like this better for clothes than zipclocks!

I also like the bag I bought pictured above in another post. It actually has two outer water bottle pockets and the outside pocket is very big and the whole bag is made very well.

I have no idea how much could possibly fit in the large bag now! I think I could squish both my queen sized blanket & foam pillow into it! The slims could fit all my intimates and shirts and sweaters and the medium could easily fit all my blue jeans and pants. These are awesome!

I bought packing cubes for the 1st time last year and LOVED them! I also roll the clothes and put them into the cube. I fit 14 or 15 shirts for me (ladies med) in one cube. I gave one to DD13 who is a Jr sz 3 and she was able to fit all of her clothes in the 1 cube. I thnk they are much better than ziplocks although I may still use the ziplocks for DD8 so all of her outfits can be ready and easy for her to grab.

We are trying to pack mostly in carry on luggage this year (will check 1 overflow bag) and I think the cubes will help us do it.

I was able to fit 6 cotton t-shirts in one slim cube.

These are so cool. I can understand if you don't travel much, not buying these. But if you travel a few times a year, these are more of an investment, in my opinion. They are made well and I know they will last. :goodvibes
