because it sure seems like He sent me a lot this time. My dad passed away last Monday. I traveled to his home, 200 miles away, on Wed. Funeral on Friday, back home today. Exhausted, overwhelmed looking at all I have to do in his home. I am an only child, so I am the last one around to clean everything out. My adult son is on oxygen and can't be of much help.

I came home to a very vocal Siamese cat. Not the usual greeting after we come home. He tends to 'punish" us...

Found out why in my son's room. Our other cat, 18 yrs old, had died on the floor. Sheesh. I know she was alive yesterday as a neighbor was feeding them and there was only 1 can of food in her bowl. It would not be unusual for him not to have seen her since she tended to hide when anyone came in.

I also had a msg on my machine since Friday from a florist saying they had had an arrangement for me they had been trying to deliver since last Wed, and would I please call them. Huh? How good are those flowers going to be looking tomorrow? I can't imagine who would have sent anything to my home. There was nothing in the paper here, and the people who knew about my dad, also knew that I would be away. Oh well.

Please hold me up a little longer Lord...

our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sorry about your father and your cat.

I'm so sorry.
I know that saying, but sometimes I thought God vastly overrated me.

Take it easy and only do what you have to do right now. Give yourself some time.

It's not true....God doesn't send you more than you can handle...G-D doesn't send you more than you nor HE can handle. ;)
I've been there, got that t-shirt, want to burn it, but G-D puts me in it many times til I get it right. You're gonna be just fine, HE's always there with you and for you whether you feel it or not.
Blessings to ya,

Denise :flower3:

I almost lost my mom right before Christmas. She had an anerysum and stroke. She was in the hospital about 9 hours away for the holidays. She is back home now but My dad and I have to be helping her at all times.(God dosent send you more than you can handle?) I have asked myself that same thing over and over the past few weeks.
