I have been on a mission to find mini mister fans and haven't found any. I even went to Wal-Mart.....I HATE Wal-Mart. I found mini fans with no mist and this looks like it has mist with no fan. Do you like this even though it doesn't have the fan element to it? Does just having the mist work?

Its true that this doesn't have a fan but the mist is more powerful on this unit than those cheap misters you find in the 99 cent bin. So it may work for some people.

Do you live near a Rite Aid drug store? I found one last year, it was a mini fan with misting element and it was battery operated.

We love the mini fans without the mist. They work great when you are in or around any AC. They are so small and easy to pack. I found that the misty bottles and such were too big for my family.

I saw those in walmart last week around the fan section for about $8. I think that I am going to run back and pick those up for our trip in May. They are much smaller than those mister bottles. But I had already picked up the mini disney fans that light up in the middle for only $2. I'm sure they will get use out of both of them.

I am so glad I saw this. I just sent out a newsletter to our family group that is going in June. I told everyone to start looking for misters and fans now. I love that it small and can fit in your bag. The ones I have used in the past were so bulky and a pain in the butt.

Can you give me idea of price on these? We have the bigger Misty Mates (use at soccer games) and we love them, however I wouldn't bring them to Disney because of their size. I'm very interested in these. I think QVC has a 2 pack for $19.93 (item F0404). I'm going to check at Walmart and CVS too.

Do you live near a BJ's Warehouse? I found a 3 pack of these there for $13 or $14. Walmart or CVS has them too but are sold individually. I think someone said they around $8.

We don't have Rite Aid here, but we have CVS. I'll be sure to check them out. Thanks so much for the idea. I do love how slim they are. My husband can always fan me with the park map if I need moving air along with my mist

Thanks NY Disney Fan! That's the size fan I've been looking for and it didn't occur to me to try Walgreens or CVS. Between that or the cool slim mister you found, I'll be sure to find something. A smaller drugstore will be a much more pleasant than another trip to Wal-Mart (shudder).

I just found our mister fans at K-Mart...I hate K-Mart, but decided I'd give it a shot because I couldn't find them anywhere else. Go figure, I found them! They are the 02cool ones like the above poster mentioned. My K-Mart had them on the end of an aisle in the garden and seasonal section. They were $2. Yay!

I got the same ones at Walmart last year and it was like finding a needle in a haystack. I asked two employees who were no help and finally found them myself......in the isle with the plastic trash cans! I bought four and three of them still survive.

I got them this year, 2007. Last night to be exact! We are leaving in 43 days!

I purchased little fans at the disney store for .99 the one year. The bottles that hold water are too bulky for me to carry around. The little fans do such a great job that I had to go back because my grandmother wanted one.
