Is there any difference between that one and the original one with black cover?
I heard of Wishes CD with gold cover.

The Gold cover Wishes CD is not the firework show ... it is a complilation of Disney songs that famous performers have done over the years. However, Peabo Bryson & Kimberly Locke do a cover of the "Wishes" song from the fireworks CD. It is really enjoyable.
Also, Disney donates $5.00 for everyone sold to the Make A Wish foundation.
