I heard Hollywood wants to try to make a better Assassin's Creed movie more in line with the games compared to the last one that failed in theaters. If that's true, which main Assassin's story should they follow? I think they should skip Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's story (AC1) due to the political controversy with Israel today and instead start with Ezio's story in Italy (AC2). What would be even more impressive but also give Hollywood an even more creative license, would be to do his father's (Giovanni) storyline, given what little background we know about him, Ezio's mother, and Ezio's uncle. Thoughts?

The film really was poor which is a shame as do love Michael Fassbender.

I'm very new to the world of Assassins Creed, having just been introduced by a friend to Origins (she loves Ancient Egypt). I'm really enjoying it so far and definitely want to play more of them, so while I cant contribute anything to the question in this thread, I will be following with interest!

I just got obsessed with Assassin's Creed video games after seeing a walkthrough of the Assassin's Creed Black Flag game for the Nintendo Switch and LOVED it. But I never knew that there was a movie based on Assassin's Creed and I always wanted to check it out? Does Michael Fassbender play one of the characters named Aguilar in the film? I would LOVE it if you could please tell me more about Aguilar especially since I bought a plushie of Aguilar/Michael Fassbender. But I did hear that Assassin's Creed 2 will be developed and released in theaters in 2026 and many people say that this sequel will follow the game's plot

The movie was partly poor because it disregarded any of the previously loved characters. Fans want Ezio's or Altaïr's story because they set the standard for the video game's storyline.

Just as long as it's not Shay...I couldn't bear to hear "I make my own luck" anymore than my kids already mock it.

Ezio would be the natural choice but my youngest would love Jacob & Evie Frye from Syndicate.

They want to make many movies, so I would think they would do all the favorite assassins.
