I have always gotten something in the mail about my reservations after I call and make them on the phone-- I have gotten nothing in the mail but got an email today saying to send in a payment--- I have no idea an address to send this payment to? can anyone help?

I'd call CRO requesting a written confirmation and also requesting a new date for down payment. Just explain what you did to us- They are always very helpful.

I made 2 seperate ressies for our upcoming trip.
Due to the fact it was under 30 days I was required to make a deposit of 1 night at time of booking, which I did.

Never received a mail confirmation on both resorts, so I called and both were OK.
CM said he would send new ones, but I still have not received. I am leaving in 6 days.
This is not usual for Disney!

I have also been waiting a couple weeks for written confirmation to come in the mail - Funny thing is, I switched my resorts & I recieved the cancellation right away, but still no new confirmation for the new resort that I booked at the same time :confused3 I checked my reservation online & it shows up booked just the way I wanted it...... I'll have to call & ask for the paperwork tho, I'd feel much better having that in hand.....

Same thing here. I made three different reservations (all for different times) and still haven't recieved any writtten confirmations. When I changed resorts for our Thanksgiving trip, the cancellation notice came right away :confused3 . But I did check my reservations on the WDW website and everything is just as it should be.

I would call to confirm everything.

Last year, we did not get our confirmation pkg...with vouchers for lanyard/pin, free poster, luggage tags, etc. The confirmation info is part of the planning fun.

I called and they expressed mailed it to us.

If you have your confirmation number you can go to disneyworld.com and look it up. Just go to the button at the top right that says My Disney Vacation, log in, and then on the right side of the screen it will have a place to put in your reservation number and your telephone number. It will then bring up your reservation. I don't think it will tell you where to send a payment but it will give you your confirmation.
I thought that you always had to put a deposit down when making a reservation???? I have never received an e-mail from Disney for a payment. Is this something new?
Hope this helps.

I would suggest definetly calling and asking them to send you the letter again. I posted on another post here but here is a brief explanation of why I say to request it sent.... I just returned from a trip to the AKL and upon check in they stated that I owed over double what My original quote was and showed no deposit applied. I asked the lady if she was sure and said that didn't sound right, but she said definetly there was no error in it. Well I pulled out my confirmation letter showing the rate and deposit I was given and she disappeared into the back for quite a bit of time. When she returned she said everything was taken care of and that I was lucky that I had My paperwork. soooo I will definetly always make sure to get one..

just My experience hope it helps

I haven't received my written confirmation yet either and I have always received them in the past. I also received an email reminding me of my payment that is due. I wonder what is going on?

I went on Disney's website to check my reservation and just about freaked. We're staying for one night but the online reservation said 6/25-7/26. That would be one big bill!!! Immediately, I phoned. The cm told me that the reservation was for one night. The online dates couldn't be changed for some reason but the main reservations had me listed for only one night. I asked for a written confirmation but she wasn't sure if I'd be receiving one or not. So far, I haven't but felt better knowing that only one night was actually reserved. I don't know why they can't change it on the Disney online site.

Wow! I'm so glad I saw this thread!

When we planned our trip to Disney this past May, I too never received a confirmation. After waiting 3 weeks, I called and requested a 2nd one. It never arrived. I called once again and requested a 3rd confirmation. Two days before we were scheduled to leave, it arrived.

We are now booked for September. I made the reservation on May 18th. Never received a confirmation. Called them on May 31st, said they would send a 2nd one out.

Today is June 7th... it's still not here :confused3

The SAME exact thing happened to us at AKL! We were at the first ticket agent on the left hand side. Stood there for what seemed to be an eternity.

Yes, Disney will fax a confirmation letter to you. Simply call CRO and ask. It usually takes 24-48 hours depending on volume, but they're happy to do it for you.

Generally you should receive your conf. letter 7-10 business days after you make your ressie, it just depends on mail time in your area. Always make sure Disney has your correct address on file.

You can bet with 200+ trips, they have our correct address on file :rotfl2:

What if you book through DU? Will you receive anything in the mail?

I had the same problem when I booked our trip in feb. It took me three calls to finally get a confirmation sent to me. I made reservations again for this fall three week ago and I am having the same problem. Disney must be trying to save money on postage. :confused3

Ok I'm glad I saw this thread! I booked my trip on June 1st and still have not recieved my confirmation letters in the mail (I have a split stay). Yesterday I did get that purple welcome package thing though. I guess I will have to call and have them resend it out.

Can you ask them to fax you a copy? At least you'd have something.
