I have mine booked yay for May 7 next year at Seabreeze Point at 10 AM.

For those of you who had an intimate, did you go eat anywhere afterwards and where do you recommend we go and what time do you think the wedding would be over. Would we go to eat for brunch or lunch?

Also who did you use for video,do any videographers have intimate packages and who would you recommend.

Thanks a lot :)

Lynn- I'm so glad you were able to book an Escape wedding for May! We are using STVS for our video. It is $625 for 3 hours and 1 edited DVD. I think there may be some better prices out there, though. Good luck!

congratulations lynn, i'm so glad you re-booked! i was just looking at pics of your dress the other day! congrats again, can't wait to hear about all your plans again!

Hey Lynn...I'm using Apex Media. It's $495 for their basic 2 hr package:

Also, our wedding is at noon but we will be having a 2pm tea followed by 4:30 dinner at 1900 Park Fare. The only good places to go for lunch are in downtown disney and GF cafe....oh and on the boardwalk there is the ESPN club and Big River Grille if you want something really laid back....

Congratulations on getting booked!

I can't answer your question about video 'cause we didn't get one (one of my few regrets)...

Our ceremony was at 10am as well at SBP. We were done around 11:30 but we didn't really do the first dance thing or anything like that. Afterwards we went back to our room (and I finished that bottle of champagne:woohoo: :rotfl: ) and changed into park clothes and went over to MGM for a couple of hours. We planned our wedding dinner for later that night at California Grill. We had great seats to watch Wishes!

I cant really answer your questions but I just wanted to say that I am so glad you were able to re-book!!!! Please keep us updated on the new plans :)

Hey Lynn,

My Escape wedding is scheduled at SBP for 2:30pm. So, what I'm doing isn't applicable (dinner at Jiko at 5:30pm.) I think by the time you finish taking pictures though, you'll be ready for and closer to lunch time. I would think for something like that I would look into maybe Citricos (this is what Summer did, check out her planning journal; page 26, post 383.) How many people are you planning to invite for your wedding now?

Sorry I can't help out with the video, we're skipping that.

Lynn, we ate at Portobello Yacht Club at Downtown Disney. I hear Fulton's Crab House is also nice, but they basically just serve seafood and we didn't want to limit the menu. Since your wedding will be during the week, you should be fine wherever you go as far as crowds go (we wanted something with fewer people and on a Monday at Portobello, it was practically empty!).

GL with the rest of your planning!

We changed into our "park clothes" (shirts I made with the help of the creative board) and headed to MGM. We did a late lunch at 50's Prime Time and had a blast. Don't forget time for photos etc.. afterwards. We scheduled a 2:30 lunch so no one would have to rush around or worry about transportation/ parking issues.

Our Intimate wedding took < 1 hour in the morning . We didn't eat much except the cake at lunch and then went to Epcot for the rest of the day.
However next day ,we went to Magic Kingdom and stayed in Royal Table inside the castle for dinner. We reserved and made sure the staff know it's for our honeymoon. We received some surprise gift at the end of the meal.

We got married at 10:00 at the Yacht club then took pictures until noon, went back to our room, ate some cake  , changed ( I left my hair up and my tiara and veil on though) and waited until dinner. We had the first seating at 1900 Park Fare.

I'm hoping to rebook my wedding for the week before, and we're thinking we'll do the 2:30 ceremony, be done about 4 and then do 5 or 5:50 dinner at Narcoosee's or GF Cafe. Both have good menus and very reasonable prices I think (especially compared to the menu we had for the custom wedding we had planned last April!).

GF Cafe is open for lunch and is really nice. You get a nice view of the GF pool and grounds and it's decorated in a similar style to the GF lobby if that helps.

Hey Lynn:

I just wanted to say I'm so happy your back:cool1:  :yay:

I originally had Fulton's booked with my intimate. They were super to work with & very accommodating. They even refunded our non-refundable deposit when I changed to a custom wedding. I still have all the information. If you pm me your email address, I’ll be glad to send it to you.

Congratulations on booking your date, that will be my first wedding anniversary. We didn't get married at SBP, but just across at the Yacht Club! The wedding took about an hour in total (including toasts and cake). Our photos were done by Disney, but part of the package we had. How exciting! Can't wait to hear more about your planning !
