I have took the plunge and upgraded to PE!!

sucumed to the lure of premium ecomomy, after a bit of " haggling " i got 3 adult and 1 child upgrades for £1107, better than my original quote of £1350, only downside was when i went online to pre-book my seats it wouldnt let me book 4 in a row, (2 then 2), only allow me to book 2 then 2 in front, is this normal, (there is seats to the right not booked yet), anyway looking forwrd to experiecing P/E for the first time.:yay:

Oh well done :) Hmmm should be able to book 2 and 2 across the aisle, give them a call and ask for them to be changed if you can't do it.

Claire ;)

Hi
After loads of helpful people off this site I have just upgraded to Premium Economy on our outbound flight. We used some of our miles plus money and had a really good price(well I think so anyway). Never flying premium economy before it will be a real treat for us(me DH and DD4).We have been put upstairs in row 79 (2 seats togeather and one opposite). What am I going to get exra sitting up in the clouds? :cool1: :jumping1: :tigger: :ccat:

You know that will be it now, you won't ever want to fly in economy again!!:lmao:

I had that problem whn trying to book on line it kept saying incorrect seating for your party .As there are 3 of us I wanted to book a 2 and one opposite. We managed to get row 79 c h and k upstairs.:wizard:  :rotfl:

thanks for advice claire, phoned virgin up, seats now 4 in a row, was thinking about getting to airport early and trying to get the front 4 seats , am i right (or wrong ) in thinking this is when these seats are allocated?:confused3

The very front row are bulkhead seats and if needed will be allocated to a party with a young baby requiring the bassient or for someone with a medical need. But if not allocated prior to the day they will be allocated to whoever asks for them first! IMO the further you are to the back the better when upstairs as the toilets are at the front and you get people walking past throughout the flight and at the back you are close to the stairs when exiting.

thanx again claire, think i will now stick with original choice, were in row 78,thanx again:goodvibes

We are already flying PE inbound, so I have just been on the phone to Virgin Atlantic for a price to go PE outbound as well for the 3 of us, I was quoted £225 each, this was through flying club. Now do I pay that or just hope that I get 3 seats together in economy...
