Hi, because of your great reviews of Ohana, we have made PS for December 13 @ 5:40pm, I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer...

I know that Ohanas is located at the Poly, but what floor? I have never been to this resort, so I don't know how to get to the restaurant once I get there.

We will be driving to the Poly on our car, however we had hoped to leave after dinner & head over to EPCOT, would the best way to get to the EPCOT be by monorail?

And for my last question, my DS is 3 years old, will there be any games that he can play? He is as busy as a bee when we go out to eat. If he sees other kids playing, he will want to join!

I am so excited to be eating here?

I don't know what I would do without this board! Thank you!

:D :bounce: :D

'Ohanas is located on the second floor of the main building lobby. If you go in to the check in lobby area you can take the elevator to the second floor. It is in the back left hand corner if facing the MK Castle.

You can take the monorail to the TTC and then transfer to EPCOT line. If you have a car, it is probably easier driving and parking at EPCOT depending on the time you finish your meal it can be a bit difficult getting back to the Poly to pick up your car. You can always take a bus back tho.

There are many games for the kids to play. It is fun for them and fun for the adults to watch.

Especially love the pineapple in the caramel sauce. Yum yum!

When we were there last week, the two games they did during dinner were "coconut races" (in which the kids sweep coconuts around the floor with little brooms) and "hula hoops" (kids do the hula hoop while music plays). In fact, they had to do two rounds of hula hoop, because some of the kids didn't get to do it the first time.

Kids of all ages participated, and they were all "winners" and got gummy worms for participating. Bring your video camera!

And if your little one does not care for the Polynesian food, they have chicken strips (and probably other stuff, too), if you ask.

Thanks so much for telling me all about Ohanas! I can't wait to finally get to eat there! Thank you!

Hi all, I also just made PS for 'Ohana, I was wondering if we went about 1/2 hour before our actual PS time, do they have a bar to sit at to wait at, and if they do--are kids ok to sit there and wait too. We have reservations for a group of 9 at 6:30--I was thinking of getting there at 6, to hopefully be by window AND get two tables together--Thanks for any help on this.

I believe there is a bar next to OHanas. Don't quote me on this though ;)

The tables are really large, at least the one we sat at last year. I would think they seat 8-10 people at a table. so all 9 of you may be at one table. Again don't quote me on the size of the tables, as I have only been there once. But I do have a PS for this coming Jan.

I do remember the food was all delicious and that's why we are going back.

Mike
