DH and I will be in WDW in Dec for 8 nights, I have all of our DxDP points accounted for, except 1! As DH is not a CS type of person, I would like to make a ressie somewhere for us but can't decide where?

What we have so far:

Day 1 (Arrival in morning)
Hoop-Dee-Doo

Day 2
Lunch - Coral Reef
Dinner - Yachtsman Steakhouse

Day 3
Lunch - Cinderella Royal Table
Dinner - Liberty Tree

Day 4
Lunch - Restaurant Marrakesh
Dinner - California Grill

Day 5
Lunch - Yak and Yeti
Dinner - Jiko

Day 6
Lunch - 50s Prime Time
Dinner - Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic

Day 7
Lunch - Chefs de France
Dinner - Le Cellier

Day 8
Lunch - Biergarten
Dinner - Artist Point

Day 9 (departing in evening)
Breakfast - Kona Cafe

We aren't breakfast people really and I'm having a terrible time trying to spend that point. What would you do????

what are you doing for lunch on arrival day? Isn't Hoop De Doo an evening event? I'd probably use that extra meal credit at resort counter service to get lunch.

I would probably have lunch at Tony's. I've always found the food to be reliably good, and the atmosphere really embodies the ambiance of the MK.

If it were me, I'd probably do the Wave at the Contemporary, or Rose and Crown at Epcot. :thumbsup2

I would do lunch on either Day 1 or Day 9 at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I love it there! For some reason, it really relaxes me. Maybe it's all that sunshine streaming in the windows.

Anyway, they have a wonderful lunch. The quality is really good, and it's just so nice being that close to the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom, but not actually being in the hustle bustle of it all. When I dine there, I know that I am "in Disney" but there is none of the stress.

I know that you said you weren't breakfast people, but depending on what time your lunch reservations are for at the Yak and Yeti you could do a later breakfast at Tusker House. I know it is a character breakfast and you are eating African inspired food that evening, but I thought the food was very good. I skipped all of the traditional American fair and went straight for the more exotic African inspired dishes. Let your inner child out and have some fun with the characters! If you have a point to spare I think it might be worth a try.

Maybe you could try,

Wolfpuck Cafe,

Teppan Edo,

Chefs de France,

Biergarten.

or better yet repeat one of the ones that you have that are your favorite

I know you didn't ask for comments, but what time is your BD Fantasmic dinner? I believe these are pretty early, like usually before 4 PM. So if you have lunch when Prime Time 50's opens (11), will you be hungry for dinner at that point?

You certainly are hitting all the ones that I'd recommend for TS (with the exception of Flying Fish, but that would have to replace a dinner and doesn't really solve your problem).

Based on your statements, I'd suggest:

Kouzzina (for a breakfast, then you can enter Epcot through the IG, which is wonderful)

Wolfgang Puck Express for lunch on your arrival day (it is CS, but fairly upscale and they serve you at your table after your initial ordering at the counter). Make sure to hit the main one by the Christmas shop, as it has a far larger menu.

Crystal Palace for a pre-rope drop breakfast in MK. We love CP for dinner, haven't done it for breakfast, but the chance to be in the park before everybody else sounds really cool.

Great itinerary and dining choices overall!!! Have fun!

It really depends on where you are going to be the first or last day because I would think you would want another meal on one of those days. So where are you going to be and that would be easier to answer your question on where to eat!
If you don't care, I would do lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK, or Grand Floridian Cafe or Tutto Italia in Epcot.

Wow, great suggestions!

Trying to use up all the points in this deluxe plan makes me realize that by day 3, I'll be so overfull, I won't want to eat the rest of the week! I thought that saving the 2 snack credits a day would be a great way to start off the day with a bagel or a pastry in any of the parks, otherwise, I'll have a suitcase full of Mickey Crispy Treats (not that my niece and nephew would mind that).

On either the day we arrive or the day we leave, I'd like to visit T-Rex in DTD...I have a terrible fear of dinosaurs and want to see if I can handle it...if not, there's always other options around there (I know it's OOP, but think the experience would be worth it).

So far, the front runner who gets our extra point is Teppan Edo!!! We have many of that type of restaurant in our area, and we always enjoy it.

I'll run it by DH tonight, the suggestion to do a character b-fast in AK sounds like it could work too!

Thanks everyone!
