Well, this is my first post after getting home from Disney yesterday. I am soooo home sick...already! We had a wonderful time, and Old Key West was a beautiful resort. We loved it!
About the CROCS.....I have to admit that I was the biggest skeptic about these shoes. I am definitely a sneaker-and-sock kind of girl when hiking through the Parks. Every year my sister and I make it a point to criticize all people wearing anything but sneakers and socks into the Parks.
We couldn't imagine wearing flip flops or high heels!!! When crocs first came out and we started noticing people wearing them in Disney we vowed we would never buy them..........then I discovered the DisBoards. I researched every thread about these and then purchased a pair. Actually, me and 7 of my family members purchased them. The first day I wore them with socks. (I know, I know, it is ugly, but in Disney I decided comfort comes first
) I thought for sure I would get blisters.....the next day, no socks, and no blisters. To make the long story short, I took down 4 pairs of shoes. The crocs did not leave my feet the entire trip--all 14 days! They were the most comfortable, cool, non-blistering, pair of shoes I have ever owned--and I am not over-exaggerating.
After I post this, I am actually going to order another pair, or two. They really do live up to all the hype!
FYI-I wore the Beach pair in a small. I normally wear a size 7.5 and they fit perfectly. My left toes were a little snug initially, but after gently pulling back on the strap and wearing them a couple of days, they fit perfectly.
Hope this helps to all those wondering if they are really worth it!!!
