I have my Red Card and Pharmacy rewards - but no Disney trip planned

What should I buy?

I don't need much from Target, but is there something that you think I should "invest in" with the discount? I could do a huge cleaning product buy, but I feel like I'm pretty set. The closets are full as are the pantries. I don't need any electronics - are there other "entertainment" or gift cards I could get the discount on that might be useful?

What do you do with your pharmacy rewards when you aren't going to Disney?

I would have to say that if you dont really need anything then it would be better not to spend money until you do actually need something.

I always eBay my pharmacy reward. I usually get around $100 which is more than I'd save by using the reward.

Agree. If you really don't need anything, no trip planned, save your money. I tend to pick up a couple gift cards when I go because invariably we have a trip "planned" even if it is a bit away and use mine and get things like laundry detergent that won't go bad and I always use up. I also pick up bday cards in advance when I have the coupon.

I have seen them selling that high too. I was looking to buy one the other day b/c we do have a trip planned and I need Disney gift cards but no way would I spend $100 on one. I've never sold my pharmacy rewards. We don't have any regular prescriptions so when I get one, I can't wait to use it

I get one monthly and didn't need the one I got last month so I sold it on eBay ($160). I just got this months and haven't decided if I'm going to use it or sell it.

This happened to me last week. I ended up buying for easter baskets, underwear & socks for two growing boys to grow into, stocked up on random lunch stuff like juices and crackers they like since i make lunch for them daily, cat food and some random pharmacy stuff. Not very exciting but i had held onto the pharmacy card until the last day to use it and nothing had come up on our need list. Dont forget online has more stuff.

I just got my red card a week ago and in the "rules" it says it cannot be used for gift cards. ? Which is the whole reason why I got it in the first place. Maybe I'll give it a try anyways.

Thanks for the tips on selling on ebay. I didn't realize you could do that or that people would be willing to pay so much for them.

I am stunned that people pay that much for the discount. I mean its only 5% off. You would have to spend $1,000 at Target just to break even.

I just saw a 10% for a Buy it Now price of $37.00 I guess that is much more realistic to me.

I know! I just listed mine just to see. Even if I get 5-10 bucks for it it'll be more than I probably would spend this month anyway. It's amazing. I listed a gift card years ago and got within a dollar of it's value for it. Ebay is a crazy place.

Wow, I had absolutely no idea those sold for any amount on ebay. I am going to list mine because I have no major purchases needed. I just bought 3 pair of shoes online so I can ease my conscience a little if the coupons sell for any decent amount.

I ended up going ahead and posting mine this afternoon. I decided to add a buy it now option this time for $150 and it sold and was paid for within a couple of hours of listing!
