I have my dining list, but have to get rid of 2...what ones?

i would get rid of chef de france.. although the food is ok.. my kids did not have as much fun as they did in other restaurants ie. crystal palace, chef mickeys, 50s prime...

I would definately get rid of Ohanas. It was by far the worst meal we have ever had at Disney. The food was dry, overdone and poor tasting and the service was so-so.

Tusker
Crystal Palace
Chefs De France..how is the food here?
Mama Melrose fantasmic Package
50's Prime Time
Hoop Dee Doo
Coral Reefe
Garden Grill
OHana's
Chef Mickey
1900 Park Fare

I would get rid of Coral Reef, which I found to be overrated, and for your family I don't see the menu working very well. Same with Chefs de France. I LOVE French food, but I doubt your boys would find anything on the menu that would please them.

Definitely keep Tusker House, it is AWESOME. The breakfast is great! Our favorite breakfast of our last trip!

And keep Hoop Dee Doo! It was fabulous. We were unsure about it, but gave it a try. I thought I would like it, but did not think DFiance would like it. It isn't really his kind of thing. However he agreed to try it, and we both LOVED it!!! It was our best meal of our trip because it was so fun. The food was great, but the "show" made it absolutely worth it!

2 boys and dinner at 1900 park fare is a no go.... I'd skip that one easily. The food is simple buffet nothing spectacular and it's a princess meal.

I would get rid of 50's Prime Time Cafe - we weren't crazy about the food or experience. I would also probably get rid of the Garden Grill just because I have not heard anyone talk much about that restaurant. You have some great restaurants on your list. Have a wonderful time.

Mamma Melrose's was the worst meal that we have ever had at Disney, I know that it is your fantasmic package, but I would not ever go back there. In fact DHS food choices are so bad that last year we caught the bus and went to the Yatch Club and ate and came back to DHS for the evening. Other than that, I don't know what I would drop, but def that one.

i gotta keep coral reefe, my boys love the idea of the fish tank.

Not sure if you have been there but not all tables have a view of the fish tank. Last time we went, we were seated at the top tier and my children could not see the tank. They will not let you wait for a table by the tank either (at least they didn't when we were there) because everyone would wait for one if given the chance. As a PP mentioned you can view many tanks in the Seas and you do not have to be rude to other diners trying to walk around them to see the tanks.

Garden Grill also has steak. It was very good when we were there in December. Crystal Palace is one of our must do's every trip for dinner. Yes, we usually wait to be seated but once seated we had a great time. The characters spend lots of time with my children. As a matter of fact, the last time my DS2 was asleep in his stroller and Eeyore proceeded to push him around the restaurant. It was so very cute. And food is so good. There is a meat carving station your DH will love and they always have some sort of fish on the buffet too. YUMMY!

I would take out 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace. We ate at both in May and they were horrible.

Please help me take out 2 of my reservations (I have a DH who loves steak and hates fish, I love steak and chicken and my boys love most any food, except fish). The boys are 3 and 6yrs.

All are dinner reservations, except Tusker (BK)

I agree with these two. I can't stomach Chef Mickey, and Coral Reef is fish, which noone in your party likes.
Tusker House is BY FAR my favorite breakfast! If you cut that one you'll really be missing out!

All of the above!!

I would skip Tusker House, Garden Grill or 1900 Park Fare. My family likes PF but its not worth it if you or your boys aren't into Cinderella and the family.

My family doesn't like fish either but we all love Coral Reef. The atmosphere is great and DH get the steak and and I get chicken - always very good.

Tusker Keep
Crystal Palace Keep (if your boys are big pooh fans). We had dinner there last week and it was pretty good
Chefs De France..how is the food here? Keep. Haven't eaten there, but reviews seem to be favorable overall, particularly for lunch.
Mama Melrose fantasmic Package Keep if you want to see fantasmic.
50's Prime Time Skip unless you are going to DHS on two separate days. Fantasmic package times are at 3 and 4 PM, so if you probably won't want to eat 2 big meals that day (unless 1 of them is breakfast)
Hoop Dee Doo Haven't done, but sounds fun.
Coral Reefe We ate there and liked it. People either love this place or hate it. The atmosphere is great though for your kids. Steak is on the menu.
Garden Grill Keep
OHana's Keep. We enjoyed it. It's fun for the kids.
Chef Mickey Skip. You have 3 meals planned with mickey. This one is the least convenient (not in a park) and gets the worst reviews as far as food.
1900 Park Fare Skip. The characters at dinner are girly. As for breakfast, Pooh and Tigger are there, repeats of Crystal Palace. Since you have boys, I doubt they'd be into Alice and Mary Poppins. Mad Hatter is supposedly fun, but this wouldn't be a top priority given your other choices.

Comments in red. Another option for Epcot is La Hacienda de San Angel. We ate there last week and the food was DELICIOUS. There are several non-seafood items on the menu.

I have not been to all the restaurants on your list but have been to Chefs, 50s, Ohanas, and Chef Mickeys.

I personally did not enjoy Chefs. All of us felt it was a so-so meal with no exciting theme or entertainment. It just wasn't worth it for us.

Chef Mickeys was a HUGE hit with the kids but DH and I dreaded it. And we had to get something to eat afterwards because the food was that bad and messy (I can't dip into those buffets where they aren't kept clean). BUT it was worth seeing the FAB 5 and not standing in line at the parks!

We really enjoyed 50s Prime Time (get the fried chicken :thumbsup2) and the antics.

We LOVE Ohanas - good food, entertainment, and fun for all.

Love Tusker House breakfast our favorite, going again this year.

I would choose, Chef Mickey( wouldn't eat dinner there) and as much as I liked 1900 Park Fare, my son did not care at all about the character, too girly.Actually was embarrased when stepsister joked with him, it was funny though.

Agree 100%
Tusker House for breakfast and O'Hana are our favorites and would not miss either of them. Chef Mickey YUK! YUK! YUK! 1900 Park Fair is very girlie. My boys did not like it at all.

My two boys would definitely pick Garden Grill over Chefs so I would recommend too getting rid of Chefs for the boys' sake. Then my recommendation would be to get rid of one of the character buffets (CP, CM or 1900 park fare). I haven't been to any for dinner but my guess is that they'd all be pretty similar in terms of food offerings, so doing all 3 might be overkill...perhaps decide in terms of the characters you like best/least or in terms of travel time for wherever you happen to be...

I have to agree with this one as far as GG over CM's. I think CMs is so over-rated and everytime we've ever gone the characters rush through because there is so much area to cover as well as the napkin twirl thing. No one came over to sing happy birthday when we went for my dd's bday 2 yrs ago, not even the server! And the food IMHO is comparable to any of the other buffets and nothing stands out that's particularly "wow".

At GG the characters will sit with you for a bit and spend more time with your kids. There have been times where the characters would sit with dd and color with her.:goodvibes The food is good and fresh, granted it's a little more limited than a regular buffet but I think it's better.

I also didn't like Park Fare's dinner either. Love their breakfast, but won't go back for dinner...and they're Cinderella characters at dinner (more for the "girl" crowd) ;)

I would cut Chefs de France, Coral Reef and 1900 park fare (maybe go for breakfast instead since Pooh, tigger and the Mad Hatter are there.

Also have you considered The Whispering Canyon Cafe?
