I have hemorrhoids like a head of cauliflower!

that's because you totally missed the point when I said I wasn't talking about having to google to ask someone's opinions on dog food, she brought it up, I didn't.

Oh sorry. I didnt see someone else mention dog food.
I'm out of the loop.
:flower3:

The only ones that totally surprise me are he ones that give details on their daughters "coming of age" so to speak. My girls would have been mortified if they knew I told a bunch of on line strangers all about when they started.

I'm not trying to be difficult here, but you don't know me and my family from Adam. How can my kids be mortified when I'm anonymous, they're anonymous, and you're anonymous? I truly don't understand. If photos are involved, then that's another story. But just talking to people who will never ever know who your daughter is? I mean, she's one of millions of girls out there.

And no I don't wish to draw attention to or embarrass someone else by giving specific threads out to prove my point, but it definitely happens.

I wouldn't be embarrassed. Again, you don't know me, and I'd bet you don't personally know the people who post things that are "meant to be private and shouldn't be asked" or the people who post things that are so simple it should embarrass them. Isn't that the point of asking on an anonymous message board?

By the way, no one here or anywhere should be embarrassed for asking their simple questions.

Forevermore, cauliflower will make me gag!

Anonymous or not, if I was a teenager and found out my mother was sharing things about me like I have seen some people sharing about their kids I would be mortified, but I guess that just makes me a more private person.

Plus there is the fact that as far as I can tell, lots of the people here do meet in person, at Disney or around town for meets if they live close, which makes it not so anonymous anymore.

I just asked my teen son about this, and he said he wouldn't care if I posted personal questions/situations asking for advice about him, as long as his picture wasn't part of it. Maybe boys are different?
