I have family in Cape Coral need the Red Cross phone #

Does anyone have the Red Cross Phone number - I need to call to find out how my Aunt And Uncle are. They live in Cape Coral. Does anyone know how hard it was hit. My family lives off S.E. 20th Street. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

My brother is in that neighborhood...they are o.k. but I have not been able to get thru to either reg or cell phones, nor computer. My other brother got thru briefly last night and this is the info I have:
My brothers house has roof and water damage, some trees are down, areas off Del Prado have major damage, power out, my brothers work (FT. Myers post office) lost 1/2 it's roof

FOX news has been listing the red cross #....Iwant to say 861-HELP.....I am not near the t.v., but try fox. I hope all is o.k. Don't panic...I know they are without power over most of the area. I will post if I hear more.

My inlaws and good friends are in Cape Coral. I talked to my MIL around 5pm yesterday and she sounded pretty shaken up. She said that between her and her daughters home they lost the pool cage (screen), a mango tree, and a bedroom window. I only talked for a short time and didn't get a chance to ask many questions other than that they are okay. At that time, they were waiting for the storm surge to approach since they are on a canal. I have been looking for a website for water heights, but can't seem to find one. My mom tried to call MIL on a cell today and can't get through.

Our friends e-mailed us yesterday am to say they were preparing for it. They are on a much bigger body of water in Cape Coral, more on the river. Storm surge predicted at 10 feet and their house in 8.5 feet. But again, I can't find any maps showing exactly what the storm surge is at.

As Finfan mentioned the phone service down there is pretty much a mess and not many phone calls going in or out right now. . hope these numbers do you some good. . you and your family and everyone affected are in out prayers. .

I have emailed the local red cross but I don't know if it will be sent/rec. I leave for Orlando on Thursday 19th, and I don't know if the Hotel is going to be open(Sheraton Suites -Airport) . Thank you all for your help. I will keep trying the phone numbers. Keep safe and well, god bless.
