Ok, I tried to post this once but I think I screwed something up so here goes again...

As I've been making my AR's for October I've been told that 3 of the 6 places have an automatic 20% gratuity added for our party of 8. Our party of 8 consists of 6 adults, a 2 yr old and a 3 month old. Are they really going to automatically include this or will they drop it once they see there are 2 "babies" with us?
I'm not trying to be cheap, although I may sound it I'm just trying to figure out what will happen.
Anyone have any experience with this?

If that's the case, do you think I could get the waitstaff to burp DD#2??
She was just put on a special formula and she's stinky. At least this way I feel she's contributing to the "8 people in the party."

I would ask at each restaurant individually. That's crazy! The only reason they add that gratuity is because of the extra effort when there are more that 8 people EATING and DRINKING. She won't be doing either! I would ask the manager if there is an exception.

Oh I would definitely mention it politely to each server - can't believe you'd be charged for 2 babies who won't be ordering off the menu.
