i'm all caught up, good thing you took a break when i did or i'd be as far behind as i am on the killers thread.

i LOVE the tradition of the ring and your DD's reply is wonderful. my DD just turned 4 and it makes me cry that she'll ever be 16! maybe she'll give me a gift like that - then it'd be a little better!

thought i'd just give you a little surprise in case you've missed it over there.....i'm pregnant!!! #3 is due in october! crazy, right?!

can't wait till you're back on here full time (lol!)!

My DS got married last August. His wife's dad gave her a diamond purity ring when she was 16. The only time I cried during the wedding was when her dad took that ring off her finger and moved it to the other hand to make room for her wedding ring. It was sooooo sweet! So be prepared to cry twice...when he puts it on AND when he takes it off. (a LONG time from now, of course!)

Shmu, when you left us on the TKers, I didn't realize that you'd be continuing on here on the your pre-TR. Now I have to play catch up!

I just read your entry about ADRs--I made some for the first time last week. I needed your input! But now I have "Kiss the Girl" in my head.

We're going to be at Pop at the same time! Whoopee!

The ring and the sentiment are both gorgeous. I wear my grandmother's jewelry everyday. It gives me a sense of home, of promise, of family, of strength, of connectedness. Its very powerful. What a wonderful tradition.

Give my hugs to Puny! Maybe he'll go on rides with my Pal Mickey! (I'll even get PM a pirate's costume so they'll match)

I was going to Post again tonight but I am having a hard time right now with allergies.
Pollen count is Extremely High here in GA and grass is one of the main pollens.
I am very allergic to grass.
