I have a question..........

We received a pin code and are thinking about booking at WL in Dec 2010.

I know the code is for room only and we will have to buy our park tickets extra but my brother in law works for GM and I am pretty sure he gets like a 10% discount...........my question since we will be using the code for the room could we use the gm discount towards buying the park tickets?

With our pin code, it was not "valid with any other offers or codes". I'm assuming that meant we could not apply any other codes, pins, or AP rates along with the pin. But as long as you book the room only, and then buy your tickets separately, you would be able to use a different discount for your tickets. But if you want to book a dining package with your pin you have to buy at least a one day base ticket in order to do that. Then just buy the rest of your tickets separately. Congratulations on your pin!!!!

You're welcome! I only knew that myself because a few years ago, we had booked a room only ressie, and then wanted to add the dining plan. We already had all the tickets we needed. I was informed that in order to add the DDP, it has to be a MYW "package", which means room, ticket/s, and DDP. I think it kind of stinks that you're forced to spend an extra 70 or so bucks for a one day base ticket (per person) in order to pay for the DDP, but after having done both the DDP and OOP, we'll never NOT go with the DDP. We saved over $1000 on last year's 10 day trip! And that's taking into account the one day tickets! It's a lot of planning with the ADRs, but it also makes the days run smoother knowing in advance where we're all eating dinner that night. Hope you have a great trip!

I agree w/ you 100% about the DDP....we did it for the first time in 2007 and loved it and we were able to eat at places we normally wouldnt even have considered. My sister will be calling tomorrow to see what we can get set up..........I am the online planner (I love to plan especially for our favorite place on earth) and she does all the talking lol.

I am SO much the same as you with liking online!!! I litterally JUST got off the phone with a CM. It's always frustrating to me... All I wanted to know was when my pin offer expires. I have till 12/16/2010. OK...can I hang up now???? NOOOOOO....she really put the pressure on to go ahead and book...you can always cancel or modify... I'm not very good at saying no...But I held my ground 'cause DH would have wrung my neck if I booked November 2010, since we're leaving in like 26 days...

That is so funny...........I tried yesterday just asking about the gm discount and they were answering everything but and trying to get me to book and I am easily pressured so I hung up before I booked us and really got into trouble so to make a long story short I stay online and my sister does the talking she doesnt buckle under pressure the way I do
