I have a question about the room-only code and MYW tickets..

My DH has this card at work that get prepaid amounts on it as part of a sales spiff for a software he sells. One place it can be used is WDW.. here are the "rules"

The Card may only be used for prepaid Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages and cannot be used directly with a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or Theme Park. The Walt Disney World Resort vacation package must include at least three nights accommodations at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and a Magic Your Way Ticket, per person. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package may be upgraded to any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and/or any Magic Your Way Ticket options, which can be requested at the time of booking, and pre-paid with the Card.

Can you get a MYW ticket with these room-only discounts? I am lost!

To me it says you have to get a MYW package, room and tickets. You cant use it for just a room or just for tickets

I agree with the pp that you need to have both a room & tickets booked. On a room-only discount, you can add the tickets & the dining plan to the reservation, so you could take advantage of a room-only discount and still use this card to 'pay' for the trip, just be sure you add at least the MYW tickets (dining would be optional).

I also read it as saying that you can't use the card AT the resort or theme park... meaning you can't take it & use it to pay for 'extras' like souvenirs, meals, room charges, etc.

Definitely see if the general public gets a room-only discount announced next week, and then jump on the chance to book the trip!
