I have a question about the old PAL Mickey?

I bought a Pal Mickey last March and actually going to go on my honeymoon with my new wife and step kids in September and was wondering if it would be best to get a new pal mickey or will my pal mickey work just as good. Is there anything that a new one does that mine does not? Thanks of any help.

Mickey have taken him back on several trips and he does update his info so that is good.I've heard new Pal Mickey plays more games and has improved sound.I've become attached to mine so for now I will not be buying new version.

I heard there is a 50th anniversary one in the works for this year. Will that one look any different? All the ones I saw on ebay are like the one I have now.

He comes with a lanyard now, and is wearing a lovely gold bow-tie!

I have mine from September of last year and I don't plan on buying a new one just to hear him play more games! But that's just me. I too have become attached to mine He looks so nice sitting on his shelf, I would hate to replace him

So at the parks he will say the same things as the new one because he will just update himself If I understand correctly? Thanks for everything I love mine to and I dont want to have to drop 65$ If mine is still good.

Yes, both Mickey's should be saying the same thing. I wouldn't think they would have them say two different types of info. Our old Mickey's will be updated just the same as the new ones. The only difference is the new one is geared towards the Celebration and has the lanyard, is louder, and plays more games.

Here is the info I have on the new pal mickey

Coming in May 2005, a "Happiest Celebration on Earth Special Edition" Pal Mickey will be introduced. In addition, a Pal Mickey costume line will debut in the summer of 2005.

Approximately 25% of his content will be updated, including new attraction lines (Stitch, Soarin', Expedition Everest, etc.), interactive trivia questions that have replaced many of his jokes, several additional games, sing-a-longs, updated character greetings/shows and a new look (costume and packaging). They are also working on a lanyard-carrying device.
