My flight is at about 430 pm.
I am arranging transport by Happy Limo and need to know what is the best time to schedule pickup? Would love to make it later to eat breakfast in the dining room the last day. I have main dinner seating. What time would dining room breakfast start and when do I need to get off the boat?

Off boat is 9-10 sharp. First breakfast is 6am and second is 8 I believe. After breakfast you are asked to leave as you can't get back into your room or do anything on the boat. If there are many stragglers after 10 they'll start to do human sweeps where you'll have no chance but to get off.

On the DCL cruises we've had, the "you don't have to go home but you can't stay here" message is given leading to and finally AT 9am. So you can wait around until then to hit the gangplank, which takes you to the area to get your bags and wait in line to go through customs...so really you're needing a ride by 10.

But sitting around is super-boring. We've done it. It's awful. There's nothing to do, there's no food or drink or things to buy (maybe photos, but the one time we did that (in 2013) it was a madhouse and very much not fun), so you're literally just standing or sitting.

Might as well just get off the ship, really, unless your traveling party has good stuff to chat about while waiting to be kicked off. :)

Main seating = early breakfast on disembarkation, by the way.

Rent a car and toodle around the area before heading to the airport. Get to the airport and get a day room like mentioned above. The earlier you get off the ship, if you rent a car, the more you get to do before you have to go to the airport! (day rooms start after checkOUT time, I believe, so getting there early doesn't help in that regard)

We had a late flight one year (I think it was around 6:30pm). We rented a car and went to Disney Springs for the day. If you have main dining, you'll have to speak to your head waiter to see if they can accommodate you in the 2nd breakfast (remember, your regular serving team may be taking care of people who have 2nd seating dining and who will be coming for breakfast). As others may point out, you could potentially have breakfast up in Cabanas (I think it's limited fare). Also, I think they start making the disembarkation announcement around 9 and aren't real keen on you just sitting around doing nothing...they'll strongly encourage you to leave. You're certainly not going to kill enough time between when you need to leave the ship and when your flight leaves (sadly )

Cabanas is a lot more food and selections of food than you will get eating with your dining room team. There will be no omlets.

If you're flying out of MCO the Hyatt offers dayrooms so you can rest comfortably or swim in the pool while passing the time until your flight.

This.

That hotel is fantastic. We did that in April and we liked that hotel so much! I highly recommend it too.

Good to know.

We always have the second seating since the DD's were small and one of the reasons is the 8AM breakfast. We are big on breakfast particularly the sit down table service which we will do during the cruise. Every cruise I've seen someone get kicked out of the 8AM breakfast from the first seating. I don't see how the servers will know whether or not I will be showing up at my table.

I don't think room service is available that morning. You can request the eight o clock brekfeast even if you have main seating. There will be people who get off get off early is there will be spots open.

Correct, room service stops at roughly 1am on the last night of the cruise.

we also have main seating and late flight out of MCO, so we booked a day room at the Hyatt and plan on just relaxing by the pool and chill.

When we had a late flight, we rented a car and went to Animal Kingdom for the day before heading to the airport.

I debarked yesterday... our orders were as follows:

6:45am - main dinning breakfast
8am - second dinning breakfast

You MUST take all your bags with you when you head to breakfast as you won't be let back do you cabin. You go to our last dining location for breakfast.

Car Services have to be done NO LATER then 9:15am. They won't be allowed into the area for pick up after 9am. The area switches over to drop offs at 10am.

Let's put it this way: Remember how anxious and excited you were to get on the ship.............well, the next group of passengers are just as anxious and excited to get on the ship also. So, you need to disembark as soon as you can so the crew can clean up the ship for the next group of passengers.

Just to clarify this a bit. I believe this poster had the second seating for breakfast. We had the 6:45 seating (that goes with main dining time) and we were allowed back into our rooms until 8:00 AM. Thus, you can see why if you have second seating you need to bring your carry on luggage. We were happy to leave ours in the cabin until after breakfast.

Does this include rental car shuttles? Did they change this? i remember one cruise waiting until 10 30
11:00 because the shuttles were so full so they just kept coming back.

You can't remain on the ship that long. Now, once you're off the ship, if there's a long line for the car rental shuttles, it might take that long.

Does that mean things like Uber?

I'd think so.

I know that private transportation can't enter the port for dropping off new passengers until like 11:00. Don't know if there's a cut off for picking up passengers. But, for the most part, everyone is supposed to be off the ship by 9:00, and most people will be picked up/gone shortly after that.
