I have a feeling the Water Tower isn't for our pool.

I went on a DVC tour last week. The CM showed me pictures of the pool for the new Kadani Village at AKL. My heart skipped a beat.

Could this be OUR Water Tower?

It could be, but in some earlier photos of the construction there are eight footings laid out in a square like what would support a water tower. There had been a lot of talk about the River Country water tower being used like the Hilton Head water tower, as the head of a slide... but the RC tower is much too small. The RC tower would be perfect for the use you pictured, though. So maybe they are building a new, larger tower for FW, and using RC's at AKL. I am reasonably certain we are going to have a Hilton Head-esque water slide, though. I'm kinda wondering if they aren't going to do something like your picture in the middle of the Meadow Pool's "deep end" though? What else explains all the supply piping down there except a water spouting feature of some sort? Maybe we will have two water towers!

Mid-March is the hardest date I have heard. Without really knowing the scope of the renovation, it is hard to guess whether they are on schedule or not. They started on time though.

There is a large wooden frame at the Fort pool. It looks like the base for a water tower to me.

Don't worry, the RC Tower will make its appearance at FW not AK.

OMG please post photos of those wood beams already - who dumps a tidbit like that then runs away.
