I hate when people lie....

I have a not so nice neighbor in the street that several people have a problem with, one of them being my friend. Our comunity used to have a website with a forum and someone posted about that neighbor , somehow they found out that I was posting on the board too and he one day asked me if I was that person, I said no, I said who I was on the board and then he said that he was not going to retaliate to me because I was nice to his wife. I have not seen the guy since then and just tonight I found out my friends husband and him almost got into an altrication outside and the not so nice neighbor told him that he knew "catsmeow" was him because I had told him so. Of course my friend called me up to ask me if I had been talking to the guy lately and I said no, I only see this guy when he comes to my job and I haven't seen him in over 2 months.
He's a wacko but I bet you anything now that my friend's dh thinks now I have something to do with it.
Why do some people have to lie? The problem is that the not nice neighbor is angry because people complain about him, if the shoe fits, wear it!

The problem is that the people who complained about him were absolutely right , my friend was one of the people who complained and misteriously one morning woke up to 5 tires slashed , four in one car and one on the other one, makes you wonder who it was!
I stay away from those people, one of their kids told my 5 yr old over the summer that he was going to beat the crap out of her and almost ran her over with his bicycle. NICE PEOPLE!
