Me and DW had nursery during church and DW's nephew(just turned 3) had to go potty...#2, well I direct him in there and he takes care of business, and is telling me he's done...Well, I was like, okay, let's wash your hands, and he said he needed wiped.. WHAT??? ...He said he didn't know how to wipe, So I said, you're gonna learn today... ...and as of Dec. 22nd he knows how to wipe.. ....

This is the ONLY reason I don't like watching other peoples little kids. I swear my home has some kind of laxative efect on them all.

My kids dirty bums are bad enough but non relatives are major gross me out ICK!!!

No flame throwing, but just a difference of opinion. It's been quite a few years since my two were 3 years old, but I'm pretty positive I was still wiping their little bottoms when they did #2. Left to do it on their own they more often than not didn't do a "good job of it" and their underwear showed the proof. Plus if they don't do a "good job of wiping" their bottoms can get sore too. They were wiping their own bottoms by the time they started pre-school though!!

Oh well, I'm glad to know mine isn't the only 8 year old with that
problem. And, then he has the audacity to get mad at us when he fails to do the wiping job right! Sheesh!

I live in a house with 4 males...the youngest is 11...I am convinced it is a male thing...and that is all I am going to say....

But I do doubt many 3 year olds can accomplish the task with any success.
