could be a "v" as in " victor "...just sayin :rolleyes1 ;)

I know you! You are selling this stuff to feed your ebay fix!!!

Being a Canon user, I wish I had a comeback but... I've got nothing :confused3. Well-played. Oh well, if you can't beat-em, join-em:

Jeff, make sure you take the Optech strap off before you ship it out... it might be worth more than the camera.

Hmm, I recall something about the apple not falling far from the tree... ;) You owe her a D3x for putting her up to that! ;)

How much do you expect to get for your AE-1 Program, if you don't mind me asking? I have that camera (with the 1984 Olympics lens cap!) plus two lenses and a flash. I didn't figure anyone would be buying film cameras.

Yeah, right. If you were de-cluttering, you would be selling the Nikon stuff. :3dglasses

LOL- The Nikon clutter I use.

I guess some things are obvious- even to a child. ;)

Not much- If I had an interesting lens to put on it I might keep it. I did keep the Minolta XD5 because I had a 50mm f1.7 lens for it.

I think we need to assign Jeff a new nickname.... 50mm! I think he wins the prize for owning more 50mm lenses of different makes than anyone in the world! And they all have a 1 after it!

Jeff you are so good a product pictures, that would be a great one. All of your 50mm lenses!

Maybe 'Standard' lenses- I have a 40/1.4 on my (crop sensor) Epson and the 35/1.8 on the D40 too.

ElizK - like Gdad said, I wouldn't expect much. AE-1s are common as can be (I even saw two in short succession on my last Disney trip) and not in high demand since you can't use those lenses on almost any other camera without some kind of wonky adapter, so you need a whole separate collection of lenses. (Well, OK, I think 4/3rds can use them with a regular adapter, but using then on an EOS body requires some fiddly extra glass in the adapter.)

I just saw one just a day or two ago on the local Craigslist for $25. The freakin' things are everywhere, like I said - we even have one here on one of our camera shelves; it came with my wife when she moved in. Fortunately, she quickly realized the error of her ways (about using Canon, not about living with me!) and it has gone untouched for many years. It's primary function now is to keep dust off a small rectangular section of the shelf. :teeth:
