I had a special guest last night!

Little grandson, Paul (5 mos) spent the whole night at grandma's for the first time! He did pretty good! He got me up at 6:00 AM and I gave him a bottle and then he watched Rug Rats and played with the little exercise gym. While he did that I had time to wash my hair and get my bath. Then it was time for his bath and breakfast for him. He is now on rice cereal with his bottle. Sometime during the day he will get peas. I'll let mom give those to him! It's so much fun having a little one around! We are going to my sister's in a couple of hours for Thanksgiving dinner and I'll have to hand him back to his parents. Grandkids are the greatest!!!!

Awwwww!! Five month old babies are soooo adorable!! My neighbor has one that age and I go over just to cuddle her!!

It'll be a while before I'm a Grandma but believe me, I'm ready!!

What fun! DD loves to stay at Grandmas. She is there right now. She was about that age on her first overnight.

I'm so sad my kids never had grandparents that would treasure them so much. My parents were both gone by the time my oldest was 6 months old, and my husband's parents were never the warm, fuzzy type. My own grandparents were lovely, but too old to really take care of babies, and now they are gone too. I have one grandmother left, their great grandmother, who is too busy enjoying her golden years to bother much with great grandchildren.

Not only are you blessed, TC, but so is little Paul.
