I had a nightmare!!!

Hi my name is mickeyanne and I am addicted to planning...I THINK I AM GOING CRAZY!!!!

I'm cruising in May and I have been planning and making notes (with the help of this board) for what seems like forever now...well, last night I had this horrible dream that I forgot my docs, my seasick meds, my money, my rewards card, and...I MISSED MY BUS TO PORT !!! I woke up in a panic! I was sweating and so nervous...

What a horrible feeling! I guess I am just a bit nervous that I will miss something in my planning and packing - oh I hope not!

I can't wait until we leave for this vacation and I can RELAX

I feel for you. Look down a couple of threads and you will see my cruise dreams thread about a dream I had last night. I seem to have the dream every few weeks. At least you only have a few weeks left. I still have 8 months.

Hang in there I am sure that you will remember everything.

This should not be a painful experience.. Sometimes I think as, Disney fans, we over plan seeking Disney Nirvana. The perfect order to see the park. The exact time to get in line for each ride when the wait will be 8.3 milliseconds shorter.

I'm doing just this with our April 16th cruise. But, now it's occurring to me that maybe I'm missing the boat so to speak. Yes I need to know that for best reservations to Paulo's I have to get them when I board and many other great tips. But am I destroying a bit of the Magic or losing a bit of the Wonder by knowing too much? (all puns definitely intended)

My children ask about the Lab and other things to do and I read them what others have written. Is this like telling everyone what the presents under the tree are? Have they lost some of the pleasure gleaned from anticipation and surprise?

Well your nightmare woke both of us up. Maybe I'll write a book when we get back called "Everything You Need to Know Without Spoiling the Adventure". Just the necessary tips and maybe a few cryptic hints of what is in store for the first time cruiser.
