It was awful! My whole trip was ruined. The house was beautiful, but it did not feel like a vacation to me. Beds were unmade...dishes in the sink...clothes and towels on the floor...food on the counter.... I was very stressed out in the dream-like HOW did I end up here???Okay, I am a little worried about POFQ, but I know I will like it fine. Maybe that's why I had this nightmare......

Wow, I am so shocked to hear that! Granted. I love staying on site and do it a lot since becoming a PH. But we would go 2 -3 times a year and rent a house and I LOVED IT!!!! They were beautiful! Decorated flawlessly, we had our own private pool and hot tub which was right outside our living room door and right on the lake. Sunsets and wildlife were to die for. Giant kitchen, so we had goodies whenever we wanted, could go 4 a swim at 2 am. The one and only drawback was fixing our own beds, but that takes about 5 minutes. And it was 5 minutes from DW entrance and cost us about 550 for the week.

Hmmm, I'll be living this "nightmare" in March. At least I don't need to share my bedroom with the kids! I don't need to share the beautiful screened in pool with a million other families, I can fix a quick meal for anyone when we're there, and best of all, it's only $600 for the week for 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms! I can think of worse nightmares!! LOL!:)

My last trip to WDW was an offsite and it was the best one yet. It was two of us, in a HUGE 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom condo with a big screen porch and parking right at our front door. It did not feel less magical in the slightest.

Also we were literally an 11 minute drive from the parking lot at Disney Studios. (I timed it one day).

And nighttime was so quiet and peaceful. :)

One woman's nightmare is another woman's dream! :teeth: I'd love to be anywhere near Disney, but it isn't gonna happen this year!
