I am definitely putting in a formal complaint, i am not happy about the way i have been treated. I just got a phone call to say that they cant fit me in on the 28th April as hoped and her next free slot was not until 22nd may!!! Got a bit upset but a lovely woman just called me bk with a date ... the 30th april but i will need a pre admission before then? Not sure what that is about but she will contact me later to arrange

I think they check you over to check you are ok to go ahead with the op.

Thats what i thought but i had all that done yesterday but guess they will need to check it closer to the op.

This must be so stressful for you. Try not to look up stuff on the internet as it's almost always scary and rarely reassuring. It sounds like you have been treated really badly and you should definitely complain, when you have the strength to do so. I hope everything goes well for you.

If everything goes ok, just the night. I am worried as i have hemorrhaged quite a few times and it doesn't help having instruments where they shouldn't be

Having to answer there standard questions doesn't help. "do i wish to be resuscitated if needed!?" a full 12 page assessment!

See ... i am doing myself no favors, lol!

I hope it will be sorted, i don't want a full hysterectomy!

The main thing, and I know you know this, is you are on the brink of getting everything sorted. It is worrying and it helps to express your worries here or with people who will listen, it is perfectly understandable and scary. There is nothing you can do now (except ban Googlying) people who know what they are doing will sort the problems out.
