Hello! I am so excited that I would like to share......:Pinkbounc

This weekend I received my first reward: a $10 GC for Amazon.com from Vividence. Spent it right away on (you guessed it!) a Disney book for my daughter. Then, I had a garage sale and made $80. That may not sound like a lot, but we got rid of a lot of stuff that was just collecting dust around the house, and we made some money doing it! (Of course, we spent that $80 on Disney Dollars. Yippee!!) Also, I listed my first item on ebay in an effort to "ebay my way to disney". To top it all off, I found the Pooh shirt I was looking for at the Disney Store for $2.99 and I got my mom her Christmas gift from the kids for $15!

I'm not trying to brag.....I just want to say thank you all for all the wonderful ideas you have and for the support that you give on a regular basis! DISers are the BEST!!!!!:Pinkbounc

I think $80.00 is good for a garage sale for junk!!

Doesn't it feel good get your first reward. Keep it up!!

Congrats! It's never bragging when you are talking about RP programs. That's what we're here for, to encourage each other. :Pinkbounc

It's certainly not bragging! We love to hear how people are doing. And I went so far as to post my 1st Quarter earnings from all my programs. LOL! Never did get around to calculating my 2nd Quarter earnings. ;) Since the great Tupperware $1 eCerts went away, things just haven't been as good.

you must have taken the same vivdence survey as me...LOL

Keep Rewarding

Mal2........... I've done so many surveys this week and weekend, I can't remember which one it was!:D

I got a Vividence one on Friday, too! Haven't spent it yet. Waiting for my GoZing one (that should come tomorrow) to add to it.

So, out of curiousity, I went back and added up my 2nd Quarter numbers. (Nowhere near as impressive as the 1st Quarter of nearly $400, but then no testdrives and no tons of Tupperware points).

Greenfield: April $20, May $8, June $1
eBates: $9
MySurvey: $10

So that was/will be $48 in Disney Dollars. Plus a $25 Webbie from March that I recv'd in April.

Vividence: April $5, May $10, June nothing
GoZing: $1.50 (which I'm still waiting for)

So that was $16.50 in Amazon GC.

Disney Visa: April $11, May $10, June $11

So that will be $32 in DDRD.

To date for the year I have actually purchased $377 Disney Dollars for the trip. Plus I have the $50 AMEX GC from the Pontiac Test Drive (just going to use that to pay for a hotel on the way down). And I have $38 in DDRD waiting to be redeemed. So $465 towards our trip in December so far. :) Plus about $70 in Amazon GC, but I don't count those towards my Disney Fund since I probably wouldn't be spending the money there if I didn't have it. If I ever get the GC's from my Mazda Test Drive, that brings the total to around $600 for the entire year counting what I've earned so far in July. And I figure I've spent about $36 on Tupperware and Amtrak promos to help earn that. (Then there's the big $750 Martha Stewart GC I won. Still gotta pay the taxes on that next year.)

Nope, not a bad year so far....:bounce:

First off, a big CONGRATS!! I can't believe how much can earned from doing these misc. programs.

Now to my question....when and how do you all find the time to do your programs, surveys and such?

In the 1 1/2 years I've been doing this I've earned $25.00 at MyPoints and $10.00 at CR and $10.00 at (dare I mention this one?) DA. I'm really close to cashing out at a few others but haven't gotten there yet.

I'm a stay-at-home with 3 boys (ages 3yrs, 8 yrs and 41yrs) and 2 dogs (ages 6 yrs and 16yrs). And yes, I count my dh as one of the kids jokingly. I love him dearly and he's a great father and husband but he's pretty lost when it comes to the household.

Or, maybe I'm just not dedicated / disciplined enough?

So, if you have any tips for finding the time and / or staying disciplined I'd really appreciate it! And again, CONGRATS to everybody on your earnings!!!!!:Pinkbounc

Don't feel bad...I have a 2.5 year old and a 3.5 month old, and even though I'm at home most of the time I've had to scale back my reward activities a good bit. I weeded out the programs that I felt were too much effort for too little reward (Blink and Search Cactus come to mind--SC is reliable, but it just takes so long to get up to $20 since they changed their search rules). I've tried to focus on the things that are most lucrative--test drives and surveys. Even so, sometimes it's hard to even find time to do surveys. Maybe when the kids get older I can do more, but for now I just do the best I can.

I was very happy this weekend because I *finally* got the $50 Cracker Barrel gift card from Memolink that I've been waiting on since January (I know, that's not that long for them  We always drive to Disney, and it's a family tradition to stop at Cracker Barrel for breakfast and stock up on candy afterwards :D
