Yoo, hoo!!!!! so exciting. One question that I have. She said arrive about 1 hour early. She did mention seating is determined by your arrival there. I told her I had heard that for balcony, which is what I purchased, that seating is determined by order of purchasing the tix. She had that changed a while ago. Is she confusing that with riverside or has it changed? Anyone there lately, what is your opinion? What do you suggest we do when we get there. Should we go to gallery one hour early or will 8:15 be ok and just go upstairs to gallery and let them know we are there. What time do they let us on the balcony?

I don't have an answer for you but I wanted to say WOOHOO on the seats :cool1: I can't wait until I get to make mine!

We did this two weeks ago- we arrived at 8:15 and checked in with the CM at the door to the balcony. Then we walked around the gallery for a while until they called each party in the order the seats were purchased.we were a group of 5 and had the middle table. I have to say, the idea is great (not having to line up- having cheescake and coffee during the show) but the actual view of Fantasmic! and the fireworks were poor. the seats are back really far- and we really wanted to see the fireworks in front of the castle but they started 2 minutes after Fantasmic! Anyway- it was a fun thing to do once, and I hope you have a great time.

To me, one of the great advantages of the balcony seating was that you did not have to arrive so far in advance, so I would hope that the CM was mistaken. Check at Guest Services when you pick up your tickets.

We checked in about 45 minuted before the show. They didn't let us even go in the Gallery until 30 minutes before the show, and we were seated in the order we bought tickets at about 20 minutes beforehand. We saw the show on Memorial Day.

Where did you ck in? I am not familiar with the area. Do you go up the steps and ck in inside the Gallery? While in the gallery are there doors there that open to the balcony or how does everyone get on the balcony? Please advise. Thanks so much. Any other tips for us would be appreciated. We have never been there before, but have been to WDW many, many times.

Can someone help me please? We are coming to Disneyland at the end of August from the UK, this will be our 4th time :)

We have never done the balcony seating for Fantasmic though and we're going to try for tickets, we have the number to call but I am assuming it is 8am PST (and not EST) that you can start calling?

We'll be there 8/22 until 9/5..........just can't wait!

What is fantasmic show and do i need to book in advantages.
Going to DL on 6/25/06 - 6/28/06 and the show is on wed 6/28.
Does anyone knew the time for the show and # to book tickets please.

My neice and I weren't able to get the balcony seats so we bought the seats down near the water. It was great! All the yummy food and drinks was great and the service by the cast members made it special, but I loved the seats. We were close but didn't have to sit on the ground or look through people in front of us. I am planning on doing it again this year on my birthday :cool1:

So, would you say its better to do the seats down by the water then instead of balcony seats?
We are going in Nov. and would be great to know what you think?
Thanks :wizard:

Will try to answer a couple of questions.

Yes, 8am PST

The day I called for balcony seats I was talking to the rep at 8:03 am and they only had 2 seats left for the 1st show. I needed 3. :sad2:
So call early!

For hotbabe:
There are only a few balcony seats and they can be reserved 30 days prior to the show. I'm guessing you're out of luck on those for 6/28.
There is also reserved seating riverside. There are more seats there so you may still be able to book that. Sometimes you can even walk up just before the show and get riverside seats.

Both those options are pretty pricey, but you do get the benefit of having a seat to watch the show, and dessert is included.

But you really don't have to do either. Most folks just stake out a spot and stand or sit on the ground to watch Fantasmic. No desserts with that option, unless you run and get something yourself to munch on while you wait, but it's much more affordable. ;)
