I got the Fantasmic Buffet seating I wanted!

I am so excited. I got the Fantasmic Buffet balcony seating ressie that I wanted for Oct. 9th at 9:00 p.m. That's the day I arrive for my first ever trip to Disneyland! (who cares that I'll have been up since 4:30 a.m. eastern time and it will be like midnight to me--I'll be working on adrenline!).

Just had to share my excitement! Now I have to book my tours this week

Hey Jellyrolls, nice to see you on the DL board. I love finding folks from VMK on the other forums.

Anyway, you'll love the balcony seating. It is an amazing way to watch the show. I'm so glad you were able to get it.

Good luck on the tours but I think you'll be fine. October is one of the slower times but the weather is still usually nice.

Be sure to do the VMK quests and tour. Mal has all the answers posted for us on the VMK board. I'll be doing my 2nd round of quests at the end of October.

Woohoo!!! Congratulations, Karen!

We saw the show and enjoyed it, but I really wasn't thrilled with the hour sitting on the ground, fighting for our personal space. It sort of put a damper on the greatness of the show. However I talked to someone on our cruise who did the Dessert Buffet (the same time we were there) and they raved about it. Said it was worth every penny and it's the only way to go.

Sounds like you are going to have a blast.

It is so worth it!
Mainly because the alternative is (as CamColt said), sitting on the hard, cold ground for a long time and getting squished by other people. It is pricy, but a special treat. It is an awesome show.

How awesome! Congrats! We did this in August and it was so wonderful. We were the first ones seated and had just the most wonderful view. Oh, and the desserts were good, too.

Make sure to pick up the tix for it first thing that morning at one of the guest service windows. You still have to do this even though you already have the ressies/paid for it.

We were there in mid August, front row center, second group to be seated and it was wonderful. With 6 of us it was spendy, but what a treat.
