I got SUPER CHEAP airfare, but worried....

that now since my parents missed the sale, the won't end up on the same flight as us.

I booked our airfare actually before I booked our package because I was just punching in dates for the end of January and I noticed airfare on Delta for $96 roundtrip ($124 after fees, etc)!!! We fly out of Indianapolis. I booked it in a hurry and by the time I got in touch with my mom later that afternoon, they were up to $232

I understand that what we paid was really cheap, but I think my parents would buy if they went below $200. Fingers Crossed!! It would just be nice to all be together. The more help for DH and I with our 2 and 4 yr olds would be WONDERFUL.

They can book that same flight....as long as there are seats available on it.

A profitable fare is probably closer to $300. Anything under $200 is a great fare.

No guarantee there were 6 tickets available at the fare you paid. No guarantee the 124 fare would have been available if you tired to book 6 tickets instead of 4.

Four tickets at $124 and 2 tickets at 232 is an average fare of around 160. Since you want your parents to help on the flight you might offer to pay part of their airfare costs, or pick up some other expenses (room/meals) to offset their cost.

Suppose your parents told you to book their tickets at the same time you booked yours. Suppose you discovered there were only 4 tickets available at 124. What would you have done?

I have noticed over the past week that Delta has been running this fare sale off and on. I looked in the after noon it was $96 by night fall it was higher then the next day it was back down to $96. So keep looking it "may" appear again.

I saw this airfare last week and if you just saw it there may be a chance it will reappear just keep looking. And GOOD LUCK
