We recently went for our first family trip. Every time we went by Dumbo the line was just outrageous. My DD very much wanted to ride, but I knew her patience wouldn't hold out. One evening, DH and I were letting the kids run off steam in Pooh's Thoughtful Spot and I mentioned to him, in passing, that it would have been nice to have gotten Liv on Dumbo-- how I remembered it from my first trip... I no sooner said the words and a CM walked up and handed me 2 passes-- said go to the gate on the left and just walk up. I grabbed my daughter and we did just that-- walked right on Dumbo like a couple of VIPs!!!!!

A typical arrival is my dd3 and I bouncing into the resort. We were checking into Contemporary - garden view and were told that we were choosen to be Family of the Day. We were told they pick one family a day. They had ballons, a certificate, coloring books and crayons, o' and did I mention the upgrade to the tower and a mk view at that!!!

My DD loves Disney but isn't a big fan of the characters. Two years ago we found ourselves in the middle of MGM (by the hat) when all of a sudden we were surrounded by Mickey, Tigger, and many more She flipped and made a run for it. A very kind CM stopped her, calmed her fears and noticed that she only had two pins on her lanyard (she was a new pin trader). He then offered her any two pins off of his lanyard that she wanted. No trade, just pick two pins. It really made her day. She still remembers which pins he gave her and she refuses to trade them with anyone!

Mine was last November. It was something like 120 or 110 days out from our vacation. I had been prepping our friends and my DW about our strategy to call early in the morning to get our CRT ressies 90 days before our trip. That night I was on the computer checking our plans and what not and happened to pull up the WDW website just as they updated the site changing the rules from 90 days to 180. I mean I had the site up and it said 90 days, for some reason I refreshed and it said 180 days.

I quickly called and the CM on the phone said I was one of the first few people to call on the change and I was able to make my CRT ADRs late at night with no troubles. I felt like I one the lottery.

As I am sure many of you also are we are often asked why are you going back to WDW with all the other places to go. One of my reasons are for times like these:

My DS absolutely loves animals and really gets into the safari at the AK. We ended up right behind the driver and my DS pointed out many animals to us. At the end before opening the side the driver anounced to the vehicle the wonderful "help" my DS had given her. She then asked us to wait while it was unloaded. She told another CM that he deserved to be an honorary safari guide and he was given a magical moment certificate with his name that said just that
