The only thing I can get at POR is a Standard View . . .not a problem with a view or anything, but DH and I need a King Size Bed and Standard Views don't have them.

Move the nightstand to the corner and push the beds together....we used to do that when the kids were little so we could all sleep together.

Now, that's an idea . . . Do you think the nightstands are moveable? Or do you think they are screwed into the floor somehow?

I think they are moveable. The headboards are connected to the wall. We always move one of our double beds to the wall so my son won't fall out. I've not moved the nightstand but I don't recall it being connected in anyway.

You never know what will be available when you get there. Once we checked into CS and hated it. We wanted to swtich to PO ASAP. I called CRO and they told me that there were no rooms. Another in our group called the hotel directly and we were able to get two rooms.

Nicley ask when you get there. You may be surprised.

We were booked for a standard room at CBR but then offered either double beds or a king at check-in. Don't give up!

We were just there and my dad got a standard room with a king!! So keep trying!! Ill try to remeber the room number !!

Ok we were in room 8212 and my dad was next door (not sure teh room number Im assumming 8211 but you could just ask (it was connecting rooms) and they paid a standard rate!! Good luck!

Room 2601 in Bayou Building 26 is a king room with a standard view. This is a lovely view of a garden area with bunnies and ducks that inhabit the area.
