I got my DSLR!!!

Well, I have been lurking on this side of the dis for a long time, with just a few posts. But I have been reading and trying to "absorb" some knowledge.

Well it is my 40th bday next week, and my DW got me a D60!! I have read the manual, and watched the online stuff at Nikon. Is there any book or dvd etc that is a "must"?

Is there anything I should have or do that you can think of right off the bat?

Here is one of the very first pics I took with it, and was just set on portrait I think. Don't rip on me too bad, I just got it

You will probably never be able to get rid of me know!!! LOL

Enjoy the camera! Check out the D60 Field Guide. I bought it the same day I bought the camera and I've never cracked the manual. The field guide explains it all so much better. Definately worth the money.
