I got my confirmation but...

My Confirmation for the Poly (switch from CBR) finally arrived after 3 weeks but my requests are not all listed. I requested 3rd floor/smoking/connecting rooms. The confirmation says smoking-guaranteed, adjoining preferred-not guaranteed, and my request for 3rd floor was not mentioned on the confirmation. Is this typical? I know they can not guarantee anything but should I call back to make sure that they have my request for 3rd floor. We are really hoping for a balcony.

The requests are still in their system even if they aren't listed on the confirmation. If you're worried just call and make sure

This is very typical! My last confirmation was missing some of my requests too. But when I called it was in their computer system. Maybe they only have so much space for requests on the form.

I've always made similar requests & the only ones they mention on the confirmation sheet are smoking preference & the view that you paid for. They have your other requests in the system, just call them again to make sure.

If you need connecting rooms because you have young children in the other room, make sure they know that. I would think that would give that request priority as well.
