I just got my ADRs for my trip in May! I got everything I wanted, most at the exact time I wanted. No time was more than a 30 minute difference. But the CM I spoke to did say that the San Angel Inn was going to be closed starting on May 10 for refurbishment. Anyone know anything about that? I may try to get in there on the 9th, when we arrive. The CM I spoke to was very nice and quick. She made sure to note on our reservations that we're vegan and vegetarian, so that made me happy.

Listed below are my ADRs. The first time is what I wanted, the second time is what I got. Pretty good!

Sunday, May 10
11:30 – Tusker House – 11:35
6:15 – Plaza Restaurant – 6:10

Monday, May 11
--------------

Tuesday, May 12
11:45 – Crystal Palace – 11:45

Wednesday, May 13
11:30 – Rose and Crown – 12:00
5:30 – Boma – 5:05

Thursday, May 14
12:00 – Yak and Yeti – 12:00
4:30 – San Angel Inn – closed for refurb starting May 10

Friday, May 15
11:45 – Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre – 11:45
4:00 – 50s Prime Time Café – 4:00

I'm so happy! I think we may try walking up to The Wave for lunch on Saturday, the 16th. And I'm still thinking about the Yak and Yeti. I may end up cancelling that one. But other than that, I think we're good!

Thanks to everyone who helped me make decisions over the last few days! I really appreciate it :)

Hope they "rehab" using Tostito's for the chips. Any half way decent place doesn't use them from a bag. I can buy better chips for goodness sake!

I finally taled my DD9 from going back until they make some changes in the menu. I think it hasn't been updated since the park opened.

Haha. I don't recall the chips and salsa being anything special the last time I went, but the vegetarian combination plate was pretty good. I split it with my boyfriend. I'm mostly wanting to go back for the frozen strawberry margarita! (Without the alcohol, of course :) ) Plus I just really love the ambiance. It's so pretty in there.

I did what you are considering. We are arriving on the 9th too and since San Angel is going to be closed starting the 10th, I booked lunch on the 9th at 1:30. We are actually eating at Boma on the same night you are but at 5:45! Maybe we'll see you leaving when we get there. LOL

BTW, we tried lunch at the Wave Jan. 31 for lunch. It was awesome!!!! It was so good that I decided to go there for dinner in May.

They actually updated the menu sometime last year. http://allears.net/menu/menu_mex.htm There's a new duck entree "Pato a la Zarzamora - Roasted duck breast with berry sauce, served with assorted fruits" that sounds really good. I haven't been able to find a review on it yet. Our DS's girlfriend doesn't like Mex or Tex Mex, so we'll have to wait to give it a try, when she's not with us. If you try it, let me know what you thought. We seem to have similar taste in food.

Got all my ADR's too today. All were at the desired times. What a relief.

I think we'll try to go to San Angel Inn that night, around 7:00. We didn't have trouble walking up the last time we went, but I might end up making a reservation anyway, just to be safe.

I'm sure we'll still be there at 5:45!

It's good to hear a good review for The Wave. I'm excited about trying it! Their two veg options sound really good, and they look good from the pictures I've seen :thumbsup2
