I got married & went on a Disneymoon & all I got was a BABY! BABY BEAN IS HERE!! PICS

Love the pictures!! Even the one with poor Jack, not so much for him but to see you laughing so hard had me lol...haha. Great podcast!! Thanks for sharing!

Love the update, as usual!

Thanks for everything the last few days. This update was just what I needed! Jack barfing is always good for a giggle :goodvibes

I read your first trip report and just found this one! I can't wait to hear about your wedding and Disneymoon :wave2:

Listened......and I could totally tell you are a SI girl!!! LOL! (although it is slightly there, not like going to SI and hearing the girls talk).

I loved the Roots pictures of the vom sequence...that was pretty special!
aahahahahahha.. I have NOT been told that in a WHILE! I never mind hearing that though, I like my mish mosh accent! It's part SI, part Philly, part snooty bucks county :> Thank you for that!

JENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!! If you weren't such a fabulous podcast guest I would TOTALLY kill you for posting what has to be THE worst Root photo of me ever taken EVER. :furious: (Although it's also given me a chance to use that rad emoticon for the first time... hmmmm.... :teeth:)

Thanks so much for inviting us to your wedding! I never would have guessed, as we traded posts on the DIS' Weddings & Honeymoons board all those years ago, that one day I'd actually get to go to your wedding! Also, thank you for making it snow in PA for us weather-deprived Los Angelinos. And for having adorable children and friendly inlaws! :goodvibes

OK OK OK.. I KNEW I would be in hot water for that pic, but as a wonderful writer, you know I had to! OR maybe it is just because I know you and could imagine 28637464875985985 different things you could have been saying, but probably really only commented on the pizza... I'm sorry, don't hate me! BTW, you DON'T look bad, you could never!

THANK YOU for trekking ALL the way to PA right before YOUR huge vow renewal! It was truly the best gift we got! We were flattered beyond belief! I forgot just how animated Patrick is, and it was such a fun time hearing him tell stories in a whole new way! Does he do that when yall fight :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed the snow... it got cold! I'm glad I was able to persuade mother nature ;)

Jen, I absolutely LOVE the pictures that Root did...even poor Jack's vomit. It was a part of the day and the pictures just feel right if you know what I mean.

I can't wait for you to start the wedding day.

Thanks Kat! 9 days til your sons big day! I can't wait for you!! and omg.. do you leave for disney today??

:wave2:

Hi Jenn. I'm normally a DisLurker rather than poster but wanted to say how beautiful you looked in the photos on the podcast website. I loved the black sash and heels and thought your hair and make up was gorgeous (thought that before I heard you were somewhat disappointed with them both).

Looking forward to reading the rest of your report.

Lx

Oh ... and congrats on baby :cheer2:

thank you thank you thank you! My gram was NOT happy about the addition of the black to my wedding attire! HA! But I HAD to have black in there somewhere! Glad to have you along!

What a great update! In reply to your reply, Disneymoons are the best!!! :cool1: The pictures are so cute! Poor Jack! What a trooper though! Can't wait to read more!

Thank you! I love disneymoons! SUCH magic! I can't wait for our next trip!

So nice to put a voice with your posts. :goodvibes

Really enjoyed listening to your thoughts and loved all the photos on there of course.

Another thing I found interesting was I thought you pronounced your last name like COKE. I see I was wrong.

I went to school with a boy with same last name spelled the same way as you do and his was pronounced Coke. You learn something new everyday :thumbsup2

Yeah, I never think about the voice thing until someone on FB posts a personal video, or I meet yall in person! Beka sounded EXACTLY how I thought she would, Soph didn't, Carrie was much softer spoken than I expected.. It's fun! But I'm glad my friends enjoyed that part!

THe name thing is funny, when in Germany it is pronounced COOK :) I'm not sure I have ever heard COKE before, I will have to ask Bob!

Hmmmm... If you right-click this link, you should be able to download the whole show as an MP3 that can be played by whatever music program is on your computer: http://traffic.libsyn.com/disneyweddingpodcast/dwp130529.mp3

Hope that helps!
Thanks Carrie, I would not have known what to suggest there!

Loved the podcast! And now I have something new to listen to, Lurkyloo's podcasts! Whenever Brent and I get married we will also have an at home wedding with Disney touches :)

eeeep! Can't wait for that! I LOVE her podcast! I listened way before we were even engaged! Mostly because I think she has a great "radio voice"! Thanks for listening though!

Love the pictures!! Even the one with poor Jack, not so much for him but to see you laughing so hard had me lol...haha. Great podcast!! Thanks for sharing!

OMG.. Bob was floored at how hard I lol during the vom... but I couldn't help it, it just happened lol Glad it could make yall lol too!!!

Thanks, it worked!

It was great putting a voice to a face, and I think the whole interview was very interesting. :)

:thumbsup2I enjoyed hearing your voice in all your FB Claudia videos and was surprised to hear you speaking french.. Idk why, but literally shocked lol

Love the update, as usual!

OH Beka, I love love love you! and if I could wrap my arms around all of you, I would! heaven has another angel looking over us now! i truly believe that! I always say, after Bob grandparents passed, life became easier for us, and I feel like I literally can feel them watching over me daily! I hope the barf helped you lol through your tough times! Show the kids, bet they will lol LOVE YOU!

I ready your first trip report and just found this one! I can't wait to hear about your wedding and Disneymoon :wave2:

YAY! Glad you joined! This is much different than my very first one, huh? In a good way of course! Thanks for joining!

Hey guys, sorry no wedding day post! We have been busy! Work mostly, but had a wedding last weekend, and bought a NEW car! EEP!

Today I have a baby doctor appointment to hear heart beat, and tomorrow is the BIG day!

Tomorrow we find out if it is a Mickey or a Minnie!!

Any guesses??

I have no real feeling which makes me think boy, however, I have referred to it as her the whole time... So I got nothing... I'm not really showing yet, just look fat lololol Like my 2008/09 TR fat. Not putting myself down, just can't post pics of something that isn't really there.

OK, I'm off to appt. Wish me luck, and hope it is all normal. Amazing how one little appointment can always get me so nervous!

Going to try and post a real update tonight, but I have work, then babysitting my friends baby, so I may be exhausted.

Thanks for hanging in there!

Thanks, Jen. I can't believe my baby gets married in 9 days. And, I leave for Disney tomorrow morning.

Best wishes today at the doctor, and I'm still calling the baby a Minnie.

Love ya!

Thanks ladies! I really want a Minnie!!! Appointment went quick! Heart rate il 145 today. If going by wives tales I believe that makes it a he.... Wish I could remember jack and Kayla's heart beats! I don't recall one being faster than the other... If its a Minnie tomorrow I'll be shocked! Happily shocked :)

Kat!!! What an exciting couple of weeks ahead of you!!!

Jenn, I can't believe 14 months flew by. Pictures of wedding will be posted on FB!

It is truly a wives tale. The dr who saw me whileniwsd in the hospital for my heart issues, told me based on the heartbeat, I was having a girl. While he does have a unisex name, I am 100% positive I birthed a boy!!!!

:thumbsup2I enjoyed hearing your voice in all your FB Claudia videos and was surprised to hear you speaking french.. Idk why, but literally shocked lol

You're so funny! Yep, I really do speak French. :lmao: Speaking of speaking, I saw above someone say you really sound like a SI girl. What does SI stand for?

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that we had our ultrasound yesterday. Baby is a:

:mickeyjum:goofy:::MickeyMo:simba::donald::sulley::tigger:pooh::earsboy:pluto::stitch2:

Also, a touch of bad news... Baby boy has a club foot :( I don't know much yet, but did see a genetic counselor due to my nephews chromosomal abnormality. Needless to say, I am beside myself. Scared to death, and angry. I don't know what else to say at the moment, but please forgive me while I deal with this for a couple of days.

If any of you have any experience with any of this, please let me know!

Jenn, take all the time you need. Finding out that your baby isn't what you hoped and prayed for is truly heartbreaking. Your ability to be a blissful pregnant woman goes out the window. Instead of looking forward to every dr appt, you dread what news you may get. People will say THE stupidest things trying to help, but each one will hurt a little more. (my favorite -insert sarcasm- was 'everything will be just fine'....no one can promise that, so why say it!) The worry each night when everything is quiet will let your mind wander into a lot of 'what ifs' and going there is a dark, scary place. I wish I could tell you not to go there, but you will. You will be hurt, you will be angry, you will be sad.

Hopefully it is 'only' a clubbed foot, but even a clubbed foot means dr appts, fighting for what he needs, and obstacales that no parent ever wants their child to face. Someone once told me that is a grieving process...you grieve the normal things you expected, the loss of things being typical or easy. So allow yourself the time to grieve. Lean on Bob and let him lean on you, together you will get through this.

HUGS...you know where to find me if you need to talk!

I am so sorry to hear that. I am sure you need time to take it in. I don't know if this helps, but when I was in high school (10+ years ago) one of my good friends had been born with a club foot. I know she had several operations as a child but by high school it really wasn't even noticeable, just smaller than the other. She was very active, she was even a cheerleader and could tumble!

I thought that may offer some hope. Although the prospect of your little one needing surgery at young age is never all thought reassuring. Our thoughts are with you.
